Lovely pub. We stopped here for lunch after a long bike ride. We were hungry and the food did not disappoint. Steak was great. Chips were incredible! Attentive staff and a cosy atmosphere, perfect to escape from the cold and rain!

We really enjoyed our stop for lunch at this inn. Excellent meals cooked to a high standard and helpful staff. The chef was happy to tailor the meals for the two of us who had particular dietary requirements.The Gorge Best ale on tap got great reviews as did the enormous triple cooked fries

A great pub. We did the dog walk illustrated in the Somerset Dog Walking book and popped in on completion. The staff were great, the beer was also to my liking. Thorough recommend this pub.

Amazing food, great value. We had the chicken curry, spaghetti with green pesto and kids cheese burger (no salad) . Everyone loved their food!Nearby activities: Wookey Hole caves

Lovely attentive and friendly staff, and very nice food. Great location for a walk in the area or meal after the caves. Not the hugest beer selection, but a couple of cheddar ales on tap, and some thatchers etc. Only thing I'd maybe change is the interior design, it's a bit out there, but each to their own. Would visit again.

Friendly staff and tasty food. The burgers and the curry were our favourites. Would definitely recommend. It can get busy but worth the wait!

Popped in here for food whilst staying locally. Food was amazing, ordered venison and it is probably the best venison I've ever had. Staff were friendly, service was quick. All in all highly recommended ?

We spent 2 nights at the inn with friends. What a wonderful time we had, all the staff were fabulous. All were very friendly and very attentive especially Richard. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely be making a return visit.Food & drinks: We had breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Everything we ordered was excellent, could not find fault with the service or the quality of the food. Also very well presented.

Came here for a last minute Sunday lunch. Though i didn't opt for the typical roast, i found the burger with chips very satiating. Friendly staff and an ambiance that was clean, inviting and relaxing. A stones throw from the infamous Wookey Hole attraction so you know where to go after the caves have worked up an appetite. Would recommend.
