Sam is so efficient. He helped me out when my car wouldn?t start and ordered in a new battery and came and fitted it for me. I would?ve been lost without him.Honest and trustworthy. Will be using him 100% from now on

I had a strange ticking noise coming from somewhere on my Mercedes CLK convertible which got worse as the speed rose. I knew it wasn?t anything to do with the engine as switching the engine off made no difference so I couldn?t understand what it could be. Another garage suspected wheel bearings and adjusted them but it made no difference. Because it was such an unusual problem and would be difficult to diagnose I wanted to take it to a garage where I could explain the situation to the person who would be working on the car, in this case the owner Sam. He was very pleasant and attentive and even listened to a recording I had made on my phone. He was as baffled as me but assured me that I was not to worry, he would find the problem and fix it (I was afraid that it might be a gearbox issue which would have been very expensive) but true to his word Sam and his colleague Ian eventually tracked down the problem to a broken clip allowing the brake pipe to come into contact with the prop shaft. (A dangerous situation if left unchecked). I have complete confidence in Sam and will be using his garage for all future repairs and servicing.Service: Transmission
