Food always pretty good for a national franchise. This branch is in a lovely location, the staff are very welcoming and there's never any rush to move you on. A good choice to eat amongst many other eateries in Wells.

Very surprised at how good this was, especially for a national chain. Absolutely the best Calamari I have ever had. The Carbonara was good too (not the classic with just eggs, it did have cream in, but not too much). Good service, and a stunning view of the Bishops Palace from our seat.

Amazing restaurant! Food was divine, the vibe of the place was great and the staff were so attentive and friendly. My favourite place to eat!Vegetarian options: Great selection of veggie options and vegan! All delicious ?Dietary restrictions: They cater to any allergy/dietary restrictions. I have a dairy allergy and everything was made clear what was vegan/dairy free. I was also able to adapt some of the meals, they are very accommodating!

Yesterday I visited the restaurant where I had a pasta dish that Jade cooked. It was honestly one of the nicest meals I've had in a long time and would definitely go back again. Great service and great atmosphere.

Really enjoyed my experience. It was my first time eating here, and it had great food and amazing customer service, they could not have done more for me. Will be back again. I will be recommending it to family and friends.

Food was amazing but the service was better! Matt always had a smile for us and several times asked us if we were okay or needed to add any requests. I definitely spended more money than what I expected with his advice and offer.

Our group of four arrived 8.15 for our reservation. We started with drinks and ordered food, three courses off the menu. Then while finishing our mains the lighting was turned up to very bright and the music was turned off. On asking why we were abruptly told that they shut at 9 o?clock, the staff then proceeded to clean down the restaurant and our table in a noisy fashion. Ten minutes passed as we watched the clean up going on around us. We only received the puddings when we pointed out this fact that we had indeed ordered them. Quite a disappointing evening.

Used to love this restaurant but was so disappointed with our experience this evening. Waitress was very polite but other staff were rude. My husband was told off for vaping OUTSIDE. The music was turned off and bright lights turned on at 9pm. The staff then proceeded to loudly clear up making it very obvious that they wanted us to leave. When my husband queried this he was told they shut at 9, but if this is the case it makes no sense to take a booking for a table at 8.15. It was our work Christmas dinner and the atmosphere was awful. A consolation was that the food was good but we felt very unwelcome and the overall experience was disappointing.

I wanted to give 6 stars, especially for the service. Matt, our waiter, was so happy and pleased to assist. Nothing was too small for him. Lovely place, fantastic food, and a friendly atmosphere. Will come again.

I really can?t rate this ask high enough.This isn?t even my local ask (not by a massive distance, but it?s well worth the extra half hour drive!)The service is second to none even during busy periods they really are person centred and care about your time there.I have taken the children several times and again- great service they made my children feel at home and involved them as much as possible.The waiters are wonderful and the manager (I think is a male) is really the icing on the cake everything is in top top shape when he?s in. He seems to do the job of them all very seamlessly and ALWAYS with a smile, a true face of ask and beacon of best practice.Hats off to you all- and merry Christmas we will definitely be back in the new year.

Wonderful lunch with family at Ask Italian in Wells. We have visited on many occasions and never been disappointed. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is always lovely. It?s our favourite place to eat in Wells with our children. We are looking forward to our next visit!Vegetarian options: Varied choice of vegetarian food.Kid-friendliness: The staff are super friendly to the children and very accommodating of fussy eaters!!

What a fantastic place to eat. The food is amazing!!!! We were actually being looked after by the manager who was so professional and helpful. He really personalised the experience for me and my partner. Also, it?s not everyday you see the manager working hard on the shop floor. This guy certainly deserves a promotion.
