Staff very jolly. Good wholesome food. Like the garden. In general good.

Pleasant pub with good service. Our visit was only marred by the very poor pizzas. The pizza dough was hard and scorched at the edges, and they used a strange kind of stodgy cheese paste, more like bechamel sauce than mozzarella, which completely covered and masked the tomato.
