How to ruin an historical church by having fairylights across the nave. The Popham memorial is quite significant but no photographs are available of this large monument. Also there is an effigy in the chancel with no information given about this medieval person of importance in his day. Still it was interesting to see how our ancient churches are developing in the C21.

Well worth a visit, restoration of organ. A good all round church. Historic also. If you visit Wellington do visit. If into churches Bradford on Tone a couple of miles towards Taunton another historical church, has sticks outside and a commonwealth grave in grave yard. Looks very Historic regular services at both mentioned churches. Enjoy.
