Coop is expensive in particular with a more MODEST selection of fruit, vegetables & meals. Asda just across the street is the choice (it doesn't make any nice bread rolls that's all).Let us differentiate between 'proudly made in Britain' and some popularity of Coop which shouldn't keep one in long-time-ago-burried nostalgia.I've just also read here a deliberate misinformation: Sorry, when was ever Coop at the level of Asda, Waitrose, M&S, Sainsbury ?

Staff are friendly and helpful

a wonderful selection of both food and beverages alike, along with a sugary assortment of tasty treats.the self checkouts are unnecessarily aggressive, however the staff will always be there to mop up any tears caused by the callous robotic voice.5 stars.yours sincerely,Jack E. Elliot.

Don't like the shouting that takes place by a minority of staff at customers

Basic products but good to have a shop in the high street open a bit longer than 5pm

Loads of choice and a good meal deal. Reasonable priced. Will definitely use them again.

Good local Coop, particularly well stocked with a good range of food and drink for the size. Gluten free options across the store. Staff helpful and clean and tidy. Great service over lockdown. Pricing sensible for local store and coop card a good saving aid!

This is a fabulous local shop, with a great variety of food available. The staff are terrific and nothing is ever too much trouble for them.

This is my mum's local supermarket. She routinely buys me sweets here and send them to me in Malaysia. Liquorice Allsorts and Jelly Babies just aren't the same in Malaysia and they're only about 90 pence in Co-op. Mind, they cost a small fortune to post to Malaysia. Anyway, I guess Co-Op is okay as a stop gap, but it's not Asda or Waitrose!

Not much to choose from in Wellington so glad there is a co-op food store.
