Stayed 1 night arrived early reception more than happy to release the room.
The room was clean and pleasant,no complaints. A good night's sleep and bit warm but it's August a fan was supplied.only one issue there was a tree outside of room wich reduced daylight.

Never realised that breakfast was going to be a box, but had no boxes the 2 days we were staying, arrived about 21.15 to some guy on reception who was not in the slightest bit intrested in us checking in, wasn't going to use the tv, but as we arrived late i put it on as not ready to sleep, it looked like someone had punched it, went down to let them know, and never found anyone at reception, never going to use travelodge again, very friendly house keepers

The location was very close to a lot of facilities and the motorway, making it great for getting around or getting what we needed quickly.
Aside from that, you get what you pay for. The rooms were very basic but everything looked clean. They topped up tea/fresh towels daily but sheets only once a week. No mini fridge but you did get a kettle for tea and coffee.
You can get family rooms which was good but despite booking under the one booking, we were placed on opposite ends of the hotel from our travel companions.
The bathroom was serviceable but the water pressure was not great.
Overall it was an average hotel but generally good for a 1-2 night stay.

Absolutely awful experience ,firstly the smell from the corridor and into the room was quite bad it was a cross between musky and eau de public toilet . The room was very basic which is fine i didnt expect fancy ,the net curtains were hanging of the rails with a big hole in the middle ,the carpet was grubby ,the shower and toilet floor had stains .The tv was small and there was no wi fi at all and even after paying for the high speed wi fi i was getting speeds of 0.7 mb which is nothing . I was on the ground floor by the car park so it was nice to be included in the staff and visitors smoking conversations .

Clean, functional, serviceable...was only there for an overnight so not bell's and whistles required! £+0 taxi from the station, a large supermarket opposite with adjacent pub and coffee shop so we'll placed

I don?t usually write bad reviews however unfortunately this was probably the worst Travelodge I?ve ever stayed in. I certainly understand Travelodges are basic however, the room were in disrepair and the hotel looked to be a shared accommodation facility which is not advertised. I don?t think this is fair for the paying guests nor the people using the shared accommodation.
The rooms were very hot with a single small fan (no air con available) and lacked basic facilities which are usually available at Travelodges. I have stayed in much nicer youth hostels compared to this hotel. For the money, I would certainly recommend staying elsewhere.

Stayed here for 3 months had the worst experience in my life stuff was complaining because I wanted my room cleaned every day no food rude stuff unprofessional people management is so bad this place needs a reform they have to fire people in charge

Needed somewhere to stay / sleep overnight for Journey that was not ridiculously expensive. Room price was significantly cheaper than alternatives nearby

Hariett on the main desk welcomed us in just like booking in should be, Fast & Kind and made us feel at Home. Thank you Hariett I hope I spelt your name Right. You deserve a promotion.
The room was clean, I brought my ultra violet light to check for punk stains ect and pish stains in the toilet but all was good. Surprising and good to know we were sleeping in a clea. Bed..
Hariett was the star of the Hotel, I won't forget the warmth she gave to my wife and child, most hotels we stay in the service is Standard, cold & Robotic....Thank You...

Super clean throughout and very comfortable beds. Room was perfect temperature too. Admittedly the reception area seems like a set from 'Prisoner Cell Block H' but that does not detract from it having great rooms. Good TVs. I have been more comfortable here than in some top dollar hotels in central London. Well done to all staff. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Not the best location for the town centre unless you have a car - that would be the only minus point.
