Came across this lovely coffee shop on our way from Enfield Car Patk going through not town. The coffee is fantastic ? such that I had to go and buy a coffee perculator in order to drink their excellent coffee.
We had breakfast there (Thursday), coffee and cake on Friday and again had the same this afternoon. Great selection of cakes ? and the portions are not exactly small which is great!
The breakfast menu is excellent. There?s something there for everyone.
If you want good coffee and something to eat be it a meal or a cake, I highly recommend The Shed. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much bother ?. And it?s all done with a smile ?

Very nice coffee, seating indoor or outdoor. Very popular, only 1 toilet for many customers. Service was good considering how busy it was. Food looked good but it's expensive

We have been a few times as literally across the river to our home. Convenient location and good setting. Close to the river and Weir. Good menu all around , food, drinks, and desserts. The staff are all very patient and helpful. Indoor and outdoor seating. Food waits are acceptable as they do get busy.

Food is delicious, good variety of tasty healthy options. Great coffee and cakes too. Lovely atmosphere, always clean and bright, and dog friendly. One of my favorite spots for breakfast, brunch or just a coffee in Taunton.

Had a lovely light lunch at this dog friendly cafe just off the high street
The savoury food selection is small, but really high quality ingredients and caters well for GF, veggie, and vegan diners. The food is clearly made fresh to order, with a great deal of care.
The chicken and avocado sandwich was 'bangin' according to my daughter, and my pastrami toastie was really good. The house salad was so fresh, I was not allowed to try the hummus because it was too good to share.
We were just chilling, so decided to have tea and cake after. The courgette and lime slice was thrilling, the fruit scones were perfect, and the caramel slice was also well received. I am not sure if they are homemade, but they sure taste like they are.
The coffee snob in our group was impressed with her latte, both the taste and the artwork.
We arrived at peak lunchtime rush, all the staff were calm and friendly, and created a lovely atmosphere.
Would recommend to a friend. Would visit again. Thank you.

An impromptu trip to Taunton and we discovered this gem. We couldn?t fault it, lovely atmosphere and decor, nice service, great coffee and food.
A cafe not to be missed if you need a brew and / or a bite to eat.

What a great find. Came here today and had a wonderful breakfast with coffee. Love the relaxed, rustic vibe of the place and a nice location by the river, just off the main drag. I'm sure I'll be back.
