I wanted a pair of wide and waterproof walking boots.
The person who served me measured my feet carefully and produced four pairs that all fitted well.
He was helpful, patient and understood my concerns.
This is the second pair of boots I have bought from Taunton Leisure. The first pair lasted 10 years. I look forward to these lasting a few more years.

The Taunton store didn?t have an item that I wanted to see in real life before purchase, but they were happy to get it in for me. This was done in a couple of days, and since this shop was open on Sunday I was able to get there and check the item. Service was friendly and helpful, and so I purchased the fairly expensive item without worry. Keep up the good work!

I saw a coat online , and went in store to try one on , got the right sized coat I wanted but they didn't have the colour I wanted , was told it would come in about 2- 3 days but it came in the next day so a very efficient service , overall very pleased , a very good store with high quality gear.

Polite and helpful in the shop. Gave advice on walking boots and aftercare. Carry a good brand range and obtained my size in a couple of days. No obligation, but I tried them and liked them. They carry a wide range of outdoor gear and knowledgeable of the products. I will try and use them again

I always visit Taunton leisure when I need outdoor kit. The team that work there are super knowledgable and always so helpful if it?s sleeping pads to climbing shoes to waterproof jackets the amount of knowledge all the staff have is always so worthwhile popping in to speak to them

We went to buy jackets for hiking in. Dave served us & he was nothing but brilliant. Very knowledgeable & super friendly.
We bought Paramo jackets on his recommendation & are very happy with them. I wore mine today as it was raining!
Also purchased a pair of Scarpa boots for my husband, along with socks.
Dave had a lot of patience with us too as we asked lots of questions and he had all the answers.

The store has a wide spectrum of great kit and clothing however I recently went in to the shop looking for a new winter coat option and not one of the three staff members said hello or offered any help as I looked at the few options they had, Upto and including a £300 Paramo, After I had selected a good option by myself I left without purchasing the item due to the lack of customer care.
