Went in this afternoon abt 3.45 pm with my broken glasses, I had stepped in them and completely snapped them and only 9 months old! The gentleman at the entrance receiving customers was friendly, even commented "I sure we still have those frames so should be simple, please take a seat and I will find someone to help you". Within minutes a lovely female assistant was able to source the frames from stock, confirm the price and returned with a replacement set of glasses with my existing lenses securely in place within my new frames, tested the fit for my head". What can I say other than to repeat to the team in Taunton, thank you thank you thank you, andy frames were a great price too as it was a repair! To your Manager Holly, congratulations, what a te you have. One happy customer who is soo relieved I won't be zooming my screen tomorrow to 150%

All seemed well until the measurements taken seemed too simple compared to previous lens measurements I had had done before. When glasses collected I was told any problems call back in and we can sort it for you. The glasses were wrongly fitted causing me incredible pain and rawness in front of one ear, to watch tv I had to pull them down my nose as the varifocal lens was wrongly aligned. I was also getting headaches as the alignment also meant I had to take unnatural head position to see in some situations. I travelled to the town from my home 20 mins drive away and managed to park in the town with my disabled wife and went back, to be told obviously there is a problem but you can?t see anyone today. Contradicting the drop in we?ll deal with it promise, I had no choice given the difficulty of journeying and parking in Taunton than to ask for a refund, this was done by a manager who could have spent his time better adjusting the spectacles! So now having made 3 arduous journeys to Taunton, paid to park 3 times, suffered headaches and raw skin I am wearing my old glasses. I have used Specsavers for almost 30 years now will have to find a more professional optician.

Fantastic service and attention to detail except for overlong wait to get in on a busy Saturday. Desperately needed two staff on reception. Some chairs with arms to help disabled/elderly to stand would be good

I don't recommend it. They make an appointment, you come and spend more than 30 minutes waiting for the appointment with your child.

They're great when in store.
But I called after opening this morning, was told I was first in queue for 20 mins before it cut me off.
I called back again 15 mins later and was 3rd in the queue. I'm guessing the other 2 gave up because I've been 1st again for about 10 mins. They don't seem to be answering the phone today.

wrong colour tint in my prescription sunglasses lenses, meaning I have to make a third visit to the store which is not very helpful.

Poor service. Terrible systems. Their system didn't book the appointment, but this was my problem, not theirs. According to the person on the phone, this does this a lot. A competitor will get my business from now on.

I found a member of staff rude I have epilepsy and asked her not to put air in my eyes and she didn't listen and did it and made me feel ill and I nearly had a seziure
