We haven?t stayed in a premier inn for some time, how disappointed we were. The lady on reception was really helpful and check in was easy, what a shame the room didn?t live up to expectations, when we went into our room it was very cold, in fairness she rushed around and found us another heater, not a good start, there was no bottled water in the room, and only two tea bag and two coffee?s. We were eating in the pub attached to the hotel. Another disappointment the whole pub is in need of a complete re-furb especially the chairs covered in imitation leather which is looking worn our, some of the chairs are in need of being replaced. Very disappointed

Great location near to centre of Taunton.Really clean and comfortable quiet rooms despite being near a main road.The staff were professional and welcoming. I would like to give a mention to Deb who ensured that nothing was too much trouble. After she had left Anne made sure that i had an iron to make sure I looked presentable for my job interview. Thank you guys it was a smashing stay. Plus I got the job!!!!Food & drinks: Pub next door has really friendly staff and great food.

I came here with my wife and two children, on check in Lucy was very friendly and she kept the girls entertained whilst we waited to check in.The room was lovely and spacious , clean and we will look forward coming here and staying whilst visiting family

What you expect from a premier inn, few things not working in the room, food is in the restaurant opposite and tbh it was awful we headed up the road to another local for the week, staff was great room was clean, bed always comfy hence why I always go with Premier

About 5/6 mn by car or taxi to centre of town. Very comfy bed. Problem with heating not working on arrival but dealt with quickly by delivery of extra heater. Quiet hotel for its location. Clean bathroom. Free WiFi and good reception. Restaurant just around the corner for breakfast.

This was a fantastic hotel for a getaway, providing a large room with a proper bathroom included! The desk is handy for leaving belongings, space to place clothes on side too and there is also little sections next to the comfortable beds. Frames are a bonus on walls and cleanliness was consistent, location is slightly out of town but bus links helped there. Staff welcomed me and my friend well, even giving us a voucher for free breakfast the next morning when Wifi was down!Noteworthy details: suitable compensation

Usual premier inn hotel but in 4 weeks the food outlet had changed their menu from very acceptable menu and food to cheap burgers and budget meals served on cold plates with chips looking as if they had been cooked in dirty oil which we actually couldnt eat most of. Don't recommend the food at all. Hotels usual with "computer says no" receptionists. Stayed at the hotel for work, next to the brewers fayre. Room clean and quiet at night. Friendly staff at check in, ate at the Brewers fayre on Meal deal and food was OK, Breakfast in the morning was good so overall nice stay.
