Fantastic gym with a really welcoming feel. The swimming pool is always clean and well-kept, and the sauna and hydro pool are perfect for relaxing after a workout. Great range of equipment and classes too ? definitely one of the best gyms in Taunton

Good gym good classes sometimes when equipment breaks it is unavailable for a number of months and the steam room is never hot as it should be

I have been receiving physio advice from Jack B and he has been very professional, kind and reassuring. He is very good at explaining how the muscles and joints work and showed me exactly how to complete the exercises he suggested. He has given me confidence to push myself to doing more exercise and I think my rehabilitation has been more rapid as a result. I?m very grateful for his advice.

Motivational, experienced, encouraging, professional, Isla guided me on new techniques; body strength training, and stretches.
Every week, the weights were increasing.

Great range and quality of classes throughout the day, 7 days a week. Great swimming pool. Used to love the calm music in the changing rooms but not heard it for a while and it would be great to be able to book classes at 8am rather than 7am, but overall really good?

From going to pure gym, snap fitness, active gym and also you fit! this gym is the future of training. You have classes that have multiple zones from 1 - 5 ( HIIT to yoga and meditation. All the personal trainers do the classes so you can familiarize yourself with them. Apart from that you have a swimming pool to massage your muscles after a hard or non stressful day. A sauna and a hydro pool to take a day off and explore relaxation.

I love going to the Nuffield Gym. Staff are welcoming and helpful, the equipment is functional and well maintained. It can get busy at times, but there is more than enough equipment to go round. The Hydro Pool and Sauna (which has just been renovated) are a blessing after a long workout, and the protein smoothies served at the Café are great! It has definitely shrugged off its previous bad reputation and is without a doubt one of the top gyms in Taunton.

Have been a member of this gym for about 16 years ( part of this time it was Esporta or Virgin) and things have really gone downhill. The pool is presently closed with no idea of when it might be open again. Management seem to be blaming lack of chemical availability but nowhere else appears to have this problem. Communication is bad and they don't seem to care about members.

Just visited today and the staff have been very nice to me! Also the gym and the pool aren't missing anything, had a good session :)

Well absolutely and we'll and truly appauled don't no where to start almost fell thru the sauna as it is out dated and selataped together can feel the boards bending when you sit on them not to mention the random rubber matt on the floor to hide a cracked tile were dirt and bacteria was growing wasn't told that the jets in the jacuzzi weren't working the steam room smelled like damp and mold and to top it all off I didn't really want to use any of these services just the pool but that staff failed to tell me there was a fitness slot for old ladies with terrible ear beatings 80s music on repeat so couldn't get any laps in its clear buy the reviews there no stranger to complaints when I questioned then on the way out they handed me a card and said contact them so there clearly used to it

staff are genuinely rude- When I was wrongly given a parking ticket I was told I shouldn't use the gym as a car park when visiting town. I love in town and only park at the gym when going out of town after! They do absolutely nothing at all to stop antisocial behaviour in pool or gym even if it's a direct violation of gym rules. shut doors 1 hour earlier than advertised time. lots of broken equipment that doesn't get fixed or replaced. not a premium experience in any sense of the word.
