Got my sofa from here absolutely top notch customer service offerd on a 1-1 personalised basis . One member of staff that stood out for us was called Adam ! we felt he met and encouraged our individual vision such as overall home design, space requirements and alongside budget plans.I must say a very unique professional approach. With no pressure or obligation just advise if required. nothing is to much bother!Walking around, the staff are friendly and informative, Adam was kind enough to offer us coffees/ hot chocolate and cookies offerd to our kids. lovely personal touch and welcoming, clean and well layed out store.Easy wheelchair accessable parking and browsing space inside .This is one of the cleanest and well looked after stores weve been in.Every item and furnishings have been well thought out and creatively displayed.Prices are clear and well presented.My sofa is of outstanding quality!The delivery service people took great care in delivering it on time and even carrying all 3 pieces up stairs to our coach house , They even unwrapped it all and took all the packaging away and even demonstrated how to use the features while installing it for us. With welcomed advice on leather care and warrentys. They were also very hardworking and friendly people.I had my sofa as a knocked down price bargain ! If you are looking for a good quality browse or just some info for future referance this is the place to go iny opinion. Best shopping experience I and my partner and sons have ever had the pleasure to enjoy ! Thanks to Adam especially but allso the whole Taunton team for their kindness and professionalism! I would give them 6 stars if I could ? as the delivery services deserve a star in there own right !

MIichael Bygrave our sales consultant was very attentive not one of these pushy salesman, very knowledgeable in all areas ,we bought a sofa and new mattress today and his support and customer care was outstanding ? so thank you ,he is a credit to furniture Village x

Well what can I say about Gary! He is smart sexy good looking and smells lovely. Joking aside, he greeted us as soon as we arrived, was very informative, helpful good sense of humour and an an asset to the company. He managed to sell me a three piece suite and that's good as I can be quite tight.

Gary in sales had a problem with our order of the Weimann semi-fitted wardrobe, as our new home address wasn't the delivery address and the interest free credit had to approve on the old address. It took ages for the corrected paper work to come through after several follow ups.We called in the day before delivery and installion, to find the computer still said No and had retained our old home address!Alex Rowlandson came to our rescue, helpfully calling the supplier and emailing the delivery company.Mind you, when the installers rang us the next morning from the lorry with them and the parts, I asked what address they were going to and stopped them from going to our old address, luckily still in Taunton and not somewhere else!We love the new large Weimann built to order wardrobe. Much less expensive than a fully fitted wardrobe but a lovely and practical "storage solution".Not sure whether Gary didn't input the order correctly or whether Furniture Village IT isn't fully joined up with suppliers and contractors.A happy ending, but a near miss avoided.

Went in there looking for a corner sofa originally on Sunday 14 Jan. Sales Consultant, Gary Inness came over gave us some good advice if sofa wouldn't fit our home, could take parts off. Wasn't pushy at all, gave us his help then left us to it for a bit. We liked one sofa but another couple were there so showed us to the hot drinks machine and let us help ourselves. Free cookies also which was a major plus for my 8 year old daughter and they were lovely. Whilst spending time sitting on another sofa he went and showed my daughter another sofa they had which is linked to TV and vibrated with the sound she loved it. We then went over to see her and ended up really liking that sofa! Spent a bit of time there Gary came over told us all about it, general chit chat built up a good rapour with him and again was not pushy. We went away to look at another sofa shop but decided to come back again to this one for a final look. Decided to purchase it. Gary was lovely and made the whole experience really nice. Sofas come in 12 weeks and we all can't wait.

Super friendly staff, I think the sales person was called Chris. He was very informative and knowledgeable on the product we wanted to buy.

Wow!!! 10/10 service, visited on Tuesday evening looking for a new mattress. Chris was so wonderful, listened to what we were after, took us around the store and let us try out different priced mattresses, he was so honest and kind from the get go, and made us feel very welcome. We eventually found the perfect mattress without being made to feel pressured to buy from them. Chris was super quick with the paperwork, and we were advised it would be delivered in 2 weeks time. I received a call from the warehouse on Thursday to say it had arrived with them and would be sent for delivery on Saturday morning. Saturday morning came and I received a curtosy call from the delivery driver to say he was 30 minutes away, and within 25 minutes he was at my home. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. A huge huge thank you to you all.

This is not a rant about FV Taunton as the service we received from the team there was excellent. This is about the disgraceful and disgusting after sales treatment we received whilst trying to register a complaint with the Customer Service Team.We bought a Grigio dining table and 6 chairs. After a few weeks of use we noticed that the hard, round pieces of plastic on the underside of the chairs and table were causing damage to our newly laid vinyl flooring. We then inspected fully all of the furniture and discovered so many more faults and damages? scratches, blemishes you name it. Took loads of photos, sent them to Customer Services with a report, got passed from pillar to post over a period 4 months. Nobody took responsibility. Caused so much stress and anxiety to both of us, we were near to breaking point.I even wore to the CEO who only passed it down the chain to one of his minions, with no acknowledgment from him at all. They are supposed to be all about family values blah blah blah?. Total business blurb with no substance.We quoted the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the law regarding a company?s responsibilities with regards to refunds but there completely ignored all of this.Finally offered a measly £89 refund which covered the delivery charge? whoopeee!!!We took the money because we felt we had no option from all the bullying we had been through.We are now stuck with furniture we don?t want, can?t use or can?t sell on without losing a ton of moneyBe aware that if you buy from FV make sure your products are in good wording order and fit for purpose.Absolutely the worst after sales service we have ever experienced

Outstanding! Michael B made our shopping experience superb. He couldn't do enough for us from start to finish. Extremely engaging, knowledgeable and willing to go the 'extra mile' in supporting us to make a purchase at a great price. If anyone deserves a bonus it's Michael.

What brilliant service! I went in with my two young children and was served by Chris. He quickly got the whole team involved with a game of hide and seek for Bruno the soft toy dog. The boys were entertained long enough for me to have an enjoyable buying experience so much so that they were asking to go back to play!! Thank you so much to Chris and the rest of the team :)

they lied to me that my mattress would arrive in 7 working days, but it's been 3 weeks and it still hasn't arrived. when I checked the email, I was surprised to see that it comes only after 3 months, which is horrible. if I want to cancel the order, they take 25% of the value of the product, but they didn't notify me of this!!!

I'm not one who reacts well to being pounced on as soon as you walk through the door, and it didn't happen here. We were given time to take in the Great selection of suites, sofas and chairs. Polite and helpful staff were on hand and happy to help. A special mention to Gary Inness who was amazing and handled our enquiry and purchase brilliantly.Many thanks.

Really good experience, didn't feel pressured into buying either which was nice. We looked at many different sofas, found one we liked, went home to check measurements etc, went back the next day to relook at the sofa. Gary was really good, friendly, honest, helped us when we needed it, even if that meant moving sofas and cushions etc (I put them back again afterwards). Looking forward to getting the new sofa. Thank you Gary, your an asset to the company.
