“I have severe sight loss and restricted mobility, I visited the store on the 18th March 25 and asked the young lady if she could assist me...she was excellent and took me to the required aisles, picked up the products I required then took me to the checkout....great service from her and she deserves recognition, unfortunately I never got her name being the idiot I am!”

“My wife and I made a decision to stop purchasing our meat from supermarkets and visited Tom at his Butchers. We will never go back to buying from supermarkets! The quality of the locally produced meat is top draw, their pies are fantastic and a regular meal in our household. The service is second to none and their hog roast at events is mouthwatering!!! Did Boris not go into intensive care in 2020....(and become the first person to put on weight whilst doing so) Then weeks later was partying hard.... Maybe it wasn't that bad. “Don't think I've ever left a review on a petrol station before but I've just left the shop and pulled this up on my phone to say wow! What a lovely man on the counter! So friendly! My card got declined at first, he didn't make a fuss or seem annoyed, he just let me stand to one side and sort it out. Sounds silly but it means a lot to me, I suffer with anxiety and things like that just cripple me so it was nice that he was so friendly! Made my day ❤️”

“We are currently on holiday in the area and popped into this store to get our supplies. Our trolley was loaded up and we were expecting to have a stressful experience unloading and packing at the till. However Debs the supervisor and Grace who was on the till were so friendly and helpful!! They assisted us to unload our trolley, fetched a second trolley to carry our bags to the car. We were amazed as Debs even pushed one of the trolleys to the car and helped put our bags into the boot. Such wonderful service- thank you very much Debs and Grace!!”

“Was actually really impressed by this convenience store. Reasonably early morning visit but very clean and tidy with well stocked shelves. Also boasting an abundance of extras like Deliveroo, Uber, Paypoint, Self service etc etc.Only slight downside is parking, which can be a little tricky as situated on a reasonably busy road.”

“The best thing about the shop is the staff, though it's on the pricey side, what do you expect from a small convenience store?

They've got the basics you need when you pop in and forgot something for dinner or want something quickly for lunch.

My daughter and I love going into the shop to see the workers who are always friendly towards us and others.

I often go for the convenience of being round the corner but they have always asked how my wife or daughter is doing and excited to interact with us.

I give a 4 star, only because it's a bit pricey but what can you expect.”

“Great to buy some things late in the afternoon specially on Sunday, they have plenty of fruits and vegetables and they have self checkout and fortunately I have never seen a cue here.”

“Myself and a friend were being followed by a group of 18 year olds and we hid in the Tesco for safety. The security didn't let them in and the staff (a man and women) were so kind and reassuring, I cannot thank them enough! I don't know what would of happened if they weren't there to keep us safe. I wish I knew their names!! This happened on 30/11/24”

“Friendly staff and mostly stocked well. Does occasionally shut randomly with no notice. The reward coupons need to get sent more frequently or be available on the app, I used to visit on a daily basis and would only get my coupons sent every 6 months or so.”

“I been coming to this shop as a customer for a couple of years now on way to work and when I finish ,I find the staff all helpful and always cheerful from management to shop assistants,I ordered pastries for the local hospital latest one last Sunday and they have them ready for me when requested I do appreciate it.The shop is ways well presented and clean and great produce always on offer I do love my latte in the morning from the machine they have,this shop is part of the community and the staff seem to care about every customer they have in and make them feel special and brings a smile on everyone's face,I work in the community and know alot of people are always saying the same as me...thankyou co op keep up the good work”

I always felt sorry for them having to deal with parcels on top of all of the work involved in running a shop, so glad to hear that they're limiting parcel collections to 6am-6pm. This is from someone who mostly goes there to pick up parcels and will be inconvenienced by this change, but I think it's sensible and will make life a lot easier for the staff who didn't seem very well supported in this previously.”
