Very convent store, feel sorry for the manager as there's always some major issue that the poor bloke has to deal with, he hates having the post office and Evri parcels in the store both are too much hassle for him and his staff as they have enough to look after. The store could do with a security guard to take the stress of all the the shoplifting away from the staff. They have 3 self-service tills that the old dears with their Daily Mail, people's friend and pint of milk are too scared to use leading to more staff stress when there's a big queue caused by the person at the front of the queue who can't decide which of the 200ish vapes they want to choose to shorten their lives with today.
Come on Co-op give the manager more support, more staff, a security guard and some valium.

The co op itself isn't too bad. Staff are 50/50 on manners and willingness to do their jobs. But the post office. Oh my, what a joke. No one is trained to work on the post office till or are never around and if they are the till or scanner isn't working. Save yourself the wasted time and just go to staple gro e post office.

Bn coming here for a while but on Thursday the 20th, the way the manager/supervisor spoke to a member of staff in store was disgusting, training needs to be upped as that?s not how you speak or motivate your staff

Friendly staff and mostly stocked well. Does occasionally shut randomly with no notice. The reward coupons need to get sent more frequently or be available on the app, I used to visit on a daily basis and would only get my coupons sent every 6 months or so.

A friendly, little store with not a lot of people just bought a drink from there and no queues at the cashier desk. It is a very fast and efficient store and they also have really good organized shelfs??

Had an absolute meltdown when I had to post not one, but two parcels to Italy, because it would take 10 minutes for each. Agreed to post one. Had to go down the road to post my second parcel, which was done way more quickly and efficiently.

I always have excellent service from Simon and his staff. They actually went the extra mile this morning to get me a box Bonio's from the stores as there were none on the shelf. Great price as well Thank you very much. Love Reggie

Absolutely so helpful at all times lots of smiles and chat to customers as if one big family. I use their post office regularly and deposited £200 this particular day and was in a bit of a hurry only to be confronted by the manager a week later to say I had dropped £20 which he kept in the safe until I was next in how honest is that , I had wandered that day why I was short but forgot all about it , thanks Co op Simon the manager and all his staff amazing bunch

Hello. It has come to the point where I believe I need to address the performance and attitude of your sore here in Taunton (morse road TA26) I have reach the point of high frustration and constant disappointment along with many others who live locally to this store. Management is so poor it?s beyond belief. Always seems to be doing everything apart from his job. Being rude to most people in the store and always seems to disappear when it reaches peak times. The manager you will know is a male chap in his 40-50s. Even told me to leave two days ago for not having a face mask. (This is down to my self to decide) as now there are no restrictions. Also like to point out that the staff including the manager decide when the post office is operational. Almost every day this closes to early or it?s not open due to no staff being there. Pay point machine.. well it?s never working or you get turned away. Seems to be when certain staff are on shift. One of the biggest issues I fine is the stock of the entire store!! There?s never anything there! And it?s also hugely over priced. I?ve compared this to two other store (same company) and there?s miles in differences.. and stock. And the amount of time your see the staff gathering in groups for a chat is unreal!! Huge lines of people waiting, I my self have timed my self at the self serve and waited for help for almost 12 minutes (I kid you not) you really do need to look into the performance in store as a whole.. not just the figures you may see on screen. I do apologise for the miss grammar and spelling in this email, but I do stand by everything I?ve said! This store has really slipped. It?s also a vital store being in between small villages. Majority being elderly too. Please address this accordingly and take what I say serous. Something has to be done.
