The store itself is fine, the issue is the staff. Just so rude! You'll stand at the counter directly in front of them and they will ignore you until they feel like helping. They are rude & speak to customers unprofessionally. Clearly these people work there because no place else would put up with them. GROSS STAFF.

Terrible. The staff in this cex are so unfriendly and do not explain anything. Had to wait 20 mins in the queue and the boy we saw didn?t even apologise. The staff could use a great deal of training in manners, politeness and customer service. All the staff in there also seem like they just don?t want to be there, mumbling every word and not engaging with the customer. I feel very disappointed by the customer service displayed in this shop , as I have been to the Exeter Cex which is fantastic and they are always willing to help. Whereas this one I feel as though the staff couldn?t give less of a s***.Also one member of staff told us a higher quote for an item we brought in. Came back to collect the exchange and gave us half the money . Because he told us the wrong price initially. Which of course was very disappointing.Customer service really needs to be improved. Will probably not be returning, and will look elsewhere in the future

I didn't buy anything, because their prices were more expensive that I remember and the technology of the Android phones (3G network Android phone 70 pounds for example) was not compatible with what I needed.

The service was really good,the staff took time to explain the new phone and let it me tested. The phone was in a really good condition and a affordable price (Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G)

On cex website they claimed to have a Sony Xperia one mk 4 phone in the Taunton branch so I went all the way from Weymouth to purchase it & when I got there was told they sold it on line, you can't phone the cex shops before you go to check if they still got it, next day on the cex web site it still as they have the phone at Taunton in stock, 3 years ago i went to cex in Salisbury as they claimed to have a Xperia one phone £410 when I got there it was a Sony z5 worth about £50 with a label on it saying sony Xperia one £410, trying to pass it off as a Xperia one. After this waste of time & money Taunton trip I'm never setting foot in another cex shop again, most of the secondhand dvds in cex you can purchase cheaper new on Amazon, even seen second hand phones & blue tooth speakers etc in cex at a much higher price than you can buy them in shops new, seems theres a market in selling secondhand goods for more then they cost new as there's a lot of silly people out there that don't know the prices of stuff
