Food was nice but the service was not the best. Ordered a masaman sharing plate thinking this would be larger portion with rice (as with the normal portion). I was asked how much rice I?d like with this to which I responded to give me the standard amount (ended up with 2 plates of rice). Turns out at the bottom of the menu it states that for sharing plates the rice is ordered separately which is quite misleading. Food also took a while to come despite only having 3 tables to serve.
Wheelchair accessibility: Set of stairs into the store and only a small space inside.

Hidden Gem FRESH THAI and very Authentic just behind NATIOWIDE BUILDING SOCIETY .Husband and wife John & Khwan welcome you then apply that Authentic tradition that dances on your tongue this is a true hidden gem in Taunton Town centre the offer takeaway and delivery easing everyone's pain to get very good food and very affordable. I urge you to try it as I've travelled the globe and I would have to fly thousands of miles for this.Simply Put FOOD PERFECTION FROM THAILAND.

Lovely little authentic place. Very reasonably priced food. Be good to see a couple of vegan/veggie dishes on the menu.

Our first meal ?in? at Baan Thai yesterday following several take aways and it certainly didn?t disappoint. What a lovely authentic little treasure. 7 delicious dishes, I think the panang was the family favourite but all so good and they even reduced the spice slightly for our children. Great prices and delicious food. Thank you.

Delicious authentic Thai food run by a husband and wife team. Popped in for lunch and had vegetarian spring rolls and chicken with ginger cooked to order. Lovely and a good price! They also do takeaway and are on the apps, plus they do Marshfield ice cream inside.
There's also a Porcelain and Collectables shop attached at the back of the Baan Thai dining area.

Had a lovely lunch today. Had Pad krapao with chicken. Lovely and spicy with very fresh flavours. Nicely presented, good size portion and reasonably priced. Recommended.

We saw this little place a few days ago for the first time, so we thought we would give it a try.
Absolutely delicious!! We all had the Red curry and rice takeaway (4 of us) It was definitely my spice limit but delicious ? I've never had butternut squash that actually tastes buttery!!
I really wanted the Massaman curry but it doesn't have meat in it and I really fancied chicken, maybe meat could be optional?
We can't wait to go back and try some other dishes, everything looks so delicious!
I like the fact that you can ring ahead to order so that you don't have to wait.
Really nice big portion at a very reasonable price. If you haven't tried it here yet, you need to! thoroughly recommended.

We went to Baan Thai for lunch yesterday.
The Pad Krapaow was really tasty with enough spices and chilli for most tastes.
My wife had Green Curry which she also loved.
She regretted not going for the big cone with 2 scoops of Ice Cream after.
Thank you Kwan and John we'll definitely be back before too long.

Pretty decent spot. Sensibly priced and very good quality for it. There were some Thai ladies having lunch as we arrived (always a good sign) who were cracking banter with the chef.
