Nestled on the edge of the Somerset Levels, All Saints' Church in Isle Brewers is a true sanctuary of peace. The church and its quiet grounds are perched above the River Isle, surrounded by the gentle landscape the region is known for. After a 2018 restoration, this historic building became a versatile community hub while keeping its timeless feel. Inside, a deep calm takes over. The soft light and ancient Saxon font connect you to centuries of history. It?s a place where modern gatherings now blend seamlessly with the old walls?a welcoming spot for everyone to pause and reflect.

A delightful church! of particular note is the grave of its 19th-century vicar Joseph Wolff, who travelled all over Central Asia during the ?Great Game.?

A beautifully renovated church and village hall.

Stopped off on a cycle ride at this different looking parish church, a very striking looking tower. It was a local election polling day & was being used as the polling station so access to the interior was limited. With support for Ukraine much in evidence.
