This is located in a lovely location where you can shop not only in Sainsbury's but also in Lidl & Food warehouse (Iceland). It also has a mini restaurant and toilet facilities which are very clean. You get a lot of discounts on specific day of the week so keep looking. They change item locations so we end up searching more and buying more than planned.
As argos is now owned by Sainsbury's they have argos counter at the right end of the shop.
They used to have a restaurant which serves nice coffee.

Seems to have lost its way, shelves often empty ( especially items on special offer ), the shop floor often empty of staff, Bakery selection reduced, No butchery or fishmonger stalls ?? feels like a cut price pile it high sell it cheap store - except the prices have gone through the roof!

Wow, certainly need some cheering up in this branch of Sainsburys. If you use smart shop you get looked at like a shoplifter and searched regularly, even when all ok! Never a sorry if you have a problem, and many times been left waiting for assistance at self pay checkouts which your pushed to use, as only one or two manned tills are open. Staff seem fed up, maybe a store issue? Shopping trolleys are often old and rough compared to rival stores. Sadly this store has gone down hill over recent years, which is a shame.
