This Greggs is too small and oversubscribed for Street. They really need to move into a much bigger store. They only have one breakfast warmer, which goes wrong often and so can't have breakfast for weeks at a time. There's often a queue out the door and up the street.

Just purchassed 4 supposedly fresh cakes. Was told to take the 2 already boxed and 2 served from the counter.
The boxed ones were stale and hard. Must be old stock from yesterday.
Do not buy boxed cakes from a Greggs bakery. Request free ones.

Have been a regular customer here for years and used to absolutely love it. Great food, lovely staff and quick service.
Unfortunately, the vegan options have been declining so although I?ve still been visiting, I?ve found myself leaving the shop empty handed. There used to be an amazing southern fried baguette but the basket in the fridge has been empty for ages now? I tried to ask the girl on the till if the tray would be replaced with something else or if the baguettes would come back but I think she misunderstood me as she got very defensive about it and told me to try another shop
I will still keep trying as I?m ever hopeful that things will improve and I?ll be able to visit my favourite high street shop again ?
Vegetarian options: Not great and have massively declined this year

When buying the last vegan sausage roll, I asked when more vegan sausage rolls were coming out, and was told "15 mins". So I went back 15 mins later and asked if they were ready yet, she said "no". I said "well it's been 15 mins, so how long will they be? I need to get to work". She says "they'll be 20 mins".... No apology. I just had to leave at that point otherwise I would have said something nasty. But seriously...!!
If it was just that one girl working there I would rate the service 0 stars, but the other staff are always nice.

It's Gregg's so you know what you are going to get but the staff are really wonderful here.

It's greggs. Serving the same as every other greggs.Somethings nicer than others and alway lukewarm if from behind the counter.Cheap ish and familiar.
