I am posting this for my 80 year old Mum.Mum went to the bank twice to speak to someone and was told to come back either early or later in the day as it was their lunch break. She did this and was told very rudely that she couldn?t speak to someone as everything was done on video call. Mum is an intelligent woman who has worked hard her whole life and did not deserve the humiliation she received in this bank. Having someone raise their voice in a public space was not acceptable , not every older person is deaf, this has been a terrible experience for her and she will be moving her money elsewhere. If the bank is open to the public surely it is the duty of the staff to help its customers. Not too much to ask!

We have visited the T S B at Somerton several times since the closure of the Taunton branch the staff have been 100% approachable . 100% helpful and professional. Thank you for your patience.

Absolutely appalling service, I called in to close my friends account who had just passed away.They only wanted to know what was in his other accounts with other banks. They also tried to tell me all his remaining funds would be going to the funeral home.The lady took a copy of the death certificate and asked if I wanted any more copies even though you are not allowed to produce more.I came out absolutely furious.

I have found in the past one lady to be extremely rude at this branch but my main issue is when paying money in at the counter. They try to take you to the cashpoint to do it. Why? Do they want to be out of work or just in one while they can doing as little as possible.I don't use TSB for anything other than my bills so the pin number associated with that card is completely unknown to me. I don't need a pin for it, don't want a pin for it and don't use it to withdraw money. So why insist on sending me one out. Just take my cash and pop it in the bank for me! Thanks ?

Never had any issues . Offers all the facilities required , anything else can be done online . Staff , when I've spoken to them seem happy , polite and helpful.

Rude, unfriendly, unhelpful- I actually use this branch as little as possible and would far rather drive to Yeovil where nothing is too much trouble.This unfortunately is completely the opposite in the Somerton branch.The staff in Somerton make transactions as awkward as possible, they have to make a point by saying something negative, don?t smile, don?t appear to want to do any work. I always and I do mean always, feel a nuisance using the counter staff. They will try their best to get you to do all transactions through the machine, online or telephone. Well I don?t want to use these options today which is why I?m stood in your branch!!So you win and I?m off to Yeovil in future to be greeted with a smile.
