Having popped in for a quick lunchtime drink we were impressed by the surroundings , the service received and the food on offer . We decided to book a room and dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary . Everything from the welcome received , friendliness of all the staff , condition of the room , quality and value of the food and drink on offer exceeded our expectations . Would highly recommend .

Stayed for a Saturday night seeing friends in the area. Very comfortable room and pretty, traditional old English pub. Food is fine and the staff are friendly. I'd recommend it as a place to stay.

This pub has really good bedrooms with new walk-in shower rooms.
We dined three times and the food was good.
Very good service with pleasant friendly staff.
We are sure to return.

Called in today for lunch. My wife had fish and chips which was good. I went for the burger which i must say wasthe worst i have eaten in Somerset. It was bland not very thick only taste melted cheese on top. And to go with that i had a small pot of chips (10) to be exact. The cost was £ 19 plus a 10% service charge. Won't be going back for a burger definitely.

We?re so glad we stumbled across this little gem. We were spending the day in Somerton while staying nearby, and after checking out other places to eat, we felt The White Hart was the perfect choice.
We were seated on high chairs that were really comfortable and felt quite private. We also felt very safe given the circumstances at the time? all the staff were dressed properly in PPE and followed guidelines.
We ordered a starter, a sausage pizza, and fries to share between the two of us, and the portions were so generous that we struggled to finish everything!
If you?re in the area, definitely give this place a try ? you won?t be disappointed!

This was our second stay at the white hart and we have loved it both times. The staff couldn?t be more helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and they are so professional. The hotel is lovely and rooms good value. We did have dinner there once and found the Sunday roast a little overpriced for the quality but enjoyed our pizzas. The hotel has a comfortable and buzzy atmosphere. We would definitely go back for a third visit if we get a chance!

Stayed over here a couple of nights whilst attending a wedding nearby. What we found was a charming historic inn in the middle of stunning Somerton. The people at The White Hart were so warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The room was compact but had everything we needed including a super king size bed and a walk in shower. Meals were excellent served in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. There was nothing here we didn?t like, I?m sure we will be staying again.

The food at the White Hart is always good, I?ve been coming here for years and never had great quality dishes. Management please keep your standards high. Note it?s card only which is disappointing because I wanted to pay with cash.
