My girlfriend and I feel like we stumbled upon a hidden gem here.
Both dinner and breakfast were amazing and had me questioning whether any restaurants in my local area were as good as this!
Adam and Cinzia were very friendly and accommodating and I would definitely eat and stay there again if I am over that way.

Visited the restaurant for the third time and as usual it didn?t disappoint. We took our friends this time and they thoroughly enjoyed. Our meals were superb. The proprietors very friendly.
Beautiful pub with nice atmosphere.

Recommend this place to anyone visiting Yeovilton or anywhere else in this part of the UK.

I almost don't want to write a good review for this place because it feels a bit like a well-kept secret, but I can't help myself so I'm going to spill the beans. The food was exceptional, locally sourced without all the trumpetry that usually gets written all over menus. The ?service was perfect, friendly, helpful but without being too hovery or annoying. It is expensive but believe me it's worth every penny. I'm just waiting for another occasion that means I can justify going back. It is my new favourite eatery in this area. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I've only not given the rooms 5 stars because I didn't go into them but if the same care and dedication has been used on them as the food and drinks list, then I'm sure they are fantastic.

Had a glorious Sunday lunch. The price is higher but so is the quality. Service and food are both excellent. The lamb is not to be missed!
You?ll feel nicely sated, in an intimate but relaxed dining space. Not ideal for children unless eating outside.

Stayed here for 1 night, very friendly and welcoming, rooms were comfortable, spotlessly clean, with coffee/tea available. We booked an evening meal and the food was to die for, absolutely fabulous, we will definitely be back ?

Fabulous Sunday roast at the Kingsdon Inn, we even managed to sit in the pub garden in mid April.
Need to mention the roast pork and crackling, the fabulous roast potatoes, generous seasonal vegetables, and sticky toffee pud with ginger ice cream! Staff and service also could not be faulted. Top lunch!

Can't recommend enough... For several years now, my partner and I have been eating here - together or in a group - every so often, and love it every time. We usually have something different and like the fact that the menu changes seasonally. All of the meals come out looking absolutely fantastic and taste just as good. The staff are warm and attentive, and as someone who has managed a number of restaurants, I find myself being extra critical when dining out. That being said, I rarely find anything to fault whatsoever and will continue to keep returning, hopefully for many more years to come. Our #1 place to eat out in the local area. (This is an updated review from nearly 8 years ago; we love it just as much as the first time we visited!)

We had a truly wonderful lunch at the Inn, following a recommendation. The service was warm and very attentive and the food was exquisite - the perfect balance of gastro pub and refined dishes. We can?t wait to return!
