Closed for lunch? A cafe that closes at 13:30 on a sunny Friday in the middle of summer. Clearly don't need the business i guess?!!

The go-to place for breakfast; definitely the best in the area. The staff are very friendly and enjoy having a laugh, creating a great atmosphere.

I have only ever stopped at the cafe. I haven't ever stayed overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms. The cafe is a great stop as part of a day enjoying the Mendips, whether on foot or awheel.

I was quite disappointed coming here. I looked at the good reviews beforehand and thought as it was a 'farm shop' the food would be fresh and high quality. We ordered a full English and an English muffin. I asked for 2 lattes however there must've been confusion as we received 2 instant coffees with a tiny bit of milk. The muffin was burnt. The English breakfast didn't seem very fresh. The workers seemed like they didn't want you to be there. Would not recommend.

Left without ordering anything, we walked in at 12.45, Google states open until 14.00. I asked the lady at the hatch if they were still serving food, her reply "yes, unfortunately " with a huge roll of her eyes. Won't be returning. Do not recommend.

We stayed in a lodge on lillypool, and we had a lovely breakfast after we had settled in Jenny, who runs the cafe. is a wonderful person. we went for 7 days, and we loved it, so we stayed another 6 days

Good food value for money. Lovely sitting outside on a fine day. Dogs not allowed inside.
Food and drinks: Good basic home cooked breakfast/lunch food at value prices.
