Very enjoyable day at the motor cycle show, well organised, although there was a big attendance getting around was easy and the food hall was efficient and friendly

Really badly organised clued in traffic for over two hours. Dont know why they were letting all of the cars in the same entrance. So cars leaving had to cross over the flow of traffic coming in. Also all cars existing the ground were going out of the same entrance. When there are multiple entrances to the site. Then to find out that the disabled bays were taken up by all the vendors. Won't be going back any time soon. Not worth the wait.

Once you can get in it's good but it took 90 min queing up in the car to get parked.

90 mins to get from Shepton Mallet to parked! Very wet grass caused parking problems. Show was fantastic, even better than last year. So much to see and do. Exit was easy and back to Shepton in 10mns. Roll on next year.

Parts of the buildings are now looking very tired. We arrived at 9.30 for day 1 of the classic motorbike show. The grassed car park was already getting full, very muddy. Breakfast was poor and not very warm.

I attended my first Alternative Convention event at the Pavillion on the B&W Showground on Sunday 4th Feb 2024....and revelled in the whole thing, dressing up in steampunk cosplay. Really enjoyed seeing and speaking to numerous merchandise stall holders based there, covering all sorts of genre from Steampunk, Cyberpunk, Faeries, Goths, Horror, Vikings and alike. Great scenes, set ups and displays throughout the hall, including gaming, mobile tattooists, refreshments, stage and entertainment. Thoroughly appreciated and plenty of card usage made on purchases. Great characters and contacts made too.
