I only came for the doggie swim at the end of the season. It was well supervised and most of the dogs had a wonderful time.There is a main pool, a children's pool and a shallow splash pool with little fountains at ground level, presumably for little children but some of the dogs thought it was brilliant.The poolside café was nice but the changing rooms could do with redecorating.There is a small car park just outside the entrance.

What a brilliant place! An absolute gem. So lovely to be able to swim under the sky. The water was very clean, a tad cool at first but fine, and the facilities are great - snacks and hot drinks, lockers, free parking, and a grassy area with picnic tables and outdoor pingpong. Friendly swimmers and staff. Loved my visit this morning.

A lovely pool local to us, yes you have to book but it?s never too busy. Even with 100/120 people it?s not crowded and everyone has room! 2 hours is also plenty long enough. Lovely coffee shop with delicious brownies/cakes and ice creams!

A great place to take the children for a couple of hours. Very reasonably priced, chilled out and unpretentious. The pool was heated to a reasonable temperature and we stayed warm even in the rain. I would highly recommend.

i would like to thank the lovely.polite staff. we are clueless and old and couldnt manage to use the internet to book our slot but the lovely young woman was patient and kind and repeated things we couldnt hear or understand. the building is a bit basic but had a lovely swim

Wonderful to be able to swim in the open air. Quirky location next to industrial site but made to look more attractive with painted beach huts on the walls. Water warm enough for active swimming, a bit chilly for just chilling out! Changing facilities pretty basic, but wonderful hot showers were very welcome. Lovely friendly staff and prebooked sessions meant not too crowded.

When it's open its wonderful. I'll be honest, I had one visit where it was open and I pretty much had the pool to myself for an hour. Then I had another visit that according to their website, they should have been ope but on getting there they very much weren't (and on driving all the way from Southampton I was VERY disappointed) but if you can visit when they are 100% open its worth it. Locker facilities and showers and cubicles to change in.

Really lovely little lido, nice friendly staff.Very strict on pool entry times with zero flexibility and the 1hour sessions don't necessarily make for the most relaxing visit. Cost is substantial incomparison to general swimming pools.We had a teenager who had to self isolate, so would have preferred to visit when she could join us but got informed it says in the terms and conditions no refunds and tickets not transferable, which was disappointing in these current times £16 for 1 adult and 2 children..... All the slots were sold out for our Saturday as it was a heatwave, so I'm sure they wouldn't have ended out of pocket.All said it is nice to be able to swim outside.
