Gardens in Shepton Mallet, Somerset

“What a little gem of a place. Never been here before, even though we live about 11 miles away! After parking the car up (free), you can head towards the small cafe, for a drink and cake, or go into the designer shops (only one was open on Easter Bank Holiday Sunday, but more so after severe flooding), or pay £7.50 entrance to the gardens, which I think is a little on the expensive side, especially as the foliage and flowers weren't out yet or even get a complimentary drink. Better to go in mid Spring - Summer time. As usual, I took lots of photos. But still worth a visit.”

“Lovely breakfast! Hot and fresh with new food coming out regularly while we were waiting to be served. The lady kept our meals warm whilst the other lady made our hot drinks. I can imagine it getting very busy having to wait like this, but we had no problems at all. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful.”
