Don't use their Hearing "Care" service.Once they have sold you their expensive hearing aids, you can not get a reliable check up appointment with them.Here is the routine,1. You make an appointment,2. They cancel the appointment3. They make a new appointment (without aking to you)4. Their date is not suitable,5. You cancel their date5. goto step 1this is the cycle I have been trapped in for 3 months. In that time, supplies have run out and I am overdue a test. Utterly awful.

Boots staff are more than happy to help when questioned on positioning of certain products.Pharmacy staff tend to be quite slow BUT this is probably down to the amount of prescriptions they process on a daily basis. Pharmacy staff are always friendly enough

The pharmacy specialises in Olympic Gold Medal standards of surliness and rudeness. It is quite amazing how brusque and downright hostile and bad mannered certain pharmacy staff members are. Both on the phone and in person, this is the Fawlty Towers of pharmacies.

I used the Boots pharmacy this morning and the woman who served me was so rude to both myself and the elderly gentleman in front of me!I really don?t care if she is having a bad day there is no excuse for her bad attitude!I will not be using Boots pharmacy again.

I don?t like to leave poor reviews, but it seemed to me that the young blonde woman working on the pharmacy desk was going out of her way to be unkind/make life difficult for me. I suffer cluster headaches and so have a prescription for 28 x 100mg of Sumatriptan. This was the 4th pharmacy I had been to and they were all out. It was the Saturday before the bank holiday, and this was my last chance to get my medication. She said they could not fill my prescription because they did not have it in stock. This was not her fault, obviously. When I asked to buy some over the counter tablets at half the strength, she said she could not sell me more than a pack of two. This is despite the fact they are half the strength of the prescription I had with me. Those two tablets wouldn?t even have got me through the afternoon. To put that in perspective, my prescription, if they had it in stock, was like having 56 of those tablets. When my husband asked if he could buy some so that we didn?t break the rules she said no because she knew it was for me. I hope this jobsworth realises that it means I will spend the bank holiday weekend in pain. Terrible customer service. I understand they have rules but she could?ve spoken to the pharmacist on my behalf or suggested that I did. In general, just very unhelpful and a complete lack of empathy.

Service is highly erratic: sometimes the staff are friendly and efficient - but more often it?s very frustrating to see three or more people in the pharmacy and no-one ?available?, either there or on the pharmacy counter, to deal with customers. I suspect they?re almost permanently short-staffed.I avoid shopping there, whenever possible, as I have a painful back and just can?t stand around waiting for service.The assistants at the main check-out, however, are always friendly and helpful so if you need help with shopping then they?re the ones to ask.

Seldom do I leave a review, but the staff member I spoke to was so reluctant to help. It was a simple task of helping me confirm if they had an item in store and I was met with the most dreary tone and general lack of bother. I understand if you dislike your job - but doing it the right way the first time may in fact make things easier on you.
