The woman serving at the till at 12:30 on the 12/7 was the rudest woman I have ever come across and you should hire and train your staff better.
She wouldn?t even let me speak and explain my issues before giving me a blunt no and telling me she wouldn?t help.
She said she couldn?t even sell me something that was available ON THE SHELF just to be rude and dismissive.

I just went in to buy some paracetamol with codeine for my period pain, I have no problem waiting at the till and staff, but the attitude??? Where is that coming from? I asked if I can have some paracetamol as well and she straight away said no, like I couldn't even explain that is for my husband who was there with me and he has a cold. I just finished a 10 hour shift, I just have my period as well, I wanted to buy some painkillers and the attitude I get is unbelievable. Let people speak before you act, please train your staff better to not talk when not asked and to actually lessen to the customers.

I am so upset by the way I was treated by the male pharmacist here yesterday. I used the 111 emergency prescription service as I was away from home and urgently needed one of my medications. I was initially told they had no record of the prescription request. When it was finally found, he was beyond unpleasant and basically told me off for using the service, aggressively asserting that my medication couldn?t be dispensed as he had to speak to my GPs surgery first and they were closed. He then contradicted himself by sniping that the medication had ?been waiting for me all day?. I don?t know whether his nonsense was because he genuinely didn?t know how the 111 emergency prescription works (it is precisely for when you aren?t able to access your GP services) or if he was enjoying some ridiculous power play or he was just having an off day but he was the epitome of a nasty little man. I think he only dared to treat me like that because I was a woman. I am still in shock at his attitude and behaviour; I have had to use the emergency prescription service before and this was the only time it hasn?t worked seamlessly and the first time I have encountered a pharmacist who wasn?t charming and helpful. I will be taking this further as it is a wholly unacceptable way to treat anybody.

Very rude and condescending on the telephone, unhelpful and belittling, clearly she believed she knows better than the pharmacist, the doctors and myself, as the patient, how differing branded tablets effect me.

Don't use their Hearing "Care" service.Once they have sold you their expensive hearing aids, you can not get a reliable check up appointment with them.Here is the routine,1. You make an appointment,2. They cancel the appointment3. They make a new appointment (without aking to you)4. Their date is not suitable,5. You cancel their date5. goto step 1this is the cycle I have been trapped in for 3 months. In that time, supplies have run out and I am overdue a test. Utterly awful.

Boots staff are more than happy to help when questioned on positioning of certain products.Pharmacy staff tend to be quite slow BUT this is probably down to the amount of prescriptions they process on a daily basis. Pharmacy staff are always friendly enough

The pharmacy specialises in Olympic Gold Medal standards of surliness and rudeness. It is quite amazing how brusque and downright hostile and bad mannered certain pharmacy staff members are. Both on the phone and in person, this is the Fawlty Towers of pharmacies.
