We arrived and we thought the room was lovely , we also loved the pub and had a delicious meal well worth the money. We were really looking forward to staying here and I did quickly look at the reviews before we came which most were really good but some mentioned the music/noise. I wish I listened! I can't work out if it's from the pub or a house right next door but it really does sound very close it's currently coming up to 1am and the music is still really loud, even louder than the TV. Having a child with us too who has to get up early as we need to travel to Bath for a competition ...... I'm honestly getting annoyed as we can't sleep. We are supposed to be staying again tonight and I don't think I can face it! If you decide to stay make sure you bring EARBUDS!

We had two lovely meals here whilst staying in the village. Everyone was very friendly. The Sunday roast was one of the best we have had and the homemade icecream was to die for. You do need to book because they get very busy.

A big crowd of us were there yesterday for a special function. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating especially with the food which was a cold Buffett. What choices and excellent quality, dietary needs met for all! Never been before but I will certainly return to this lovely pub. Thank you.

Had a lovely overnight stay in the blue room, its cosy, was surprisingly quiet for an inn and had lots of nice decor and lovely touches. Perfect for a little January get away. Particularly liked the flask of milk for tea and the coffee machine in the room
