Had a lovely lunch sat in the garden, after a walk at the wildlife reserve nearby. The food was tasty and fresh, service was excellent, especially considering how busy they were

A bit off the beaten track, worth a visit if you can find it! We had coffee and a cake, the carrot cake was delicious, there is lots of room with tables in the garden with great views looking over Wellington.
There is also a plant nursery and local artisan shops to browse.

We relaxed in the garden with great food with fabulous service. Parking can be tricky at peak times but staff do all they can to fit everyone in!

Superb veggie breakfast, flat white and kombucha. Friendly service and didn?t mind me dining alone even though it was busy. Thank you.

Lovely place. First visit for me and had a hearty breakfast. Explored the little shop and took away some scones from the counter. Very lovely place once you find it.

We've been here quite a few times for breakfast or brunch and it's always good food in a relaxed place. Today I had the loaded hash browns which were good (but I was hungry so no photo!) I especially like the home made baked beans.

Parked up and went in , was waiting by the pleas wait here sign, for about 10min didn?t even get acknowledged by the member of staff who was by the till had to ask where it was okay for us to sit. After sitting down, we placed our order quite quickly. We ordered two breakfast buns both wanting crispy bacon. Food arrived quite quickly. However, the bacon was fatty and the fried egg was rock hard it didn?t feel like any love had been put into the breakfast buns whatsoever.
The atmosphere was cold , didn?t even get a thank you or bye as we left, didn?t feel like the experience was worth travelling for after hearing such good reviews about this place
Left feeling very disappointed

Amazing! Tucked away cafe with stacks of rustic charm and amazing garden views. Keep going up the track past the residential properties and you will be rewarded with this hidden away gem of a cafe, surrounded by wood-storage, brocante antiques and a small plant nursery.
The drinks, food and atmosphere were bang-on!
What more can I say??!
Fabulous location and superb lunch menu ...plus lovely staff

Idyllic spot in the garden today for lunch with visitors. I knew from previous visits the food would delight us, and the staff were attentive as ever. White Post Cafe is a hidden gem.
