Very disappointed and disgusted with The Cooks Kitchen severe lack of communication. Still waiting 13 weeks after initial order was placed online, despite stating 2-4weeks. I just want a refund! Please answer your phone and/or respond to my emails!

AWFUL customer service. I spoke to CHARLOTTE regarding returning some items that I had purchased online and they weren't as they had been described. She was very rude and unhelpful. At one point during the conversation she said to me "maybe you should stop moaning about it and purchase the items from somewhere else" and she went onto say "is this the first time you've ever bought anything online". I just could not get through to her - near the end of the conversation she very sarcastically said "... hello ... hello ... are you still there" to which I said "yes of course I'm still here" and she replied by saying "well I'm not listening to you and am about to put the phone down now". At this point I was so frustrated that I ended the conversation myself by putting the phone down. I sent a written complaint to their customer services email address and found out that Charlotte is actually the Director of the company so the complaint obviously didn't get very far! Instead, I received an email from her directly via her personal email address saying that I was wasting my time complaining about her as she is the boss and no-one can say anything to her! How ridiculously unprofessional and rude. It makes me wonder how she got herself into such a position and makes me feel very sorry for her poor staff!!

The time between my order being accepted and my PayPal account being debited was one day.The time between my PayPal account being debited and the goods arriving was 16 days.Most other internet companies with which I deal do not take the money before despatch of the goods and complete the whole transaction in well under a week.A very disappointing performance.The teapot and tea cosy were fine.
