I shop here often, as it?s my local home bargains
today I was served by a much older man who?s name was JOHN. who was VERY sarcastic & belittling. I did not appreciate being spoken down to as I was. His sarcasm was uncalled for, along with the ageism.
I think the store should seriously rethink who they have at the face of their shop.
Vile attitude from a full grown man, to a younger woman.
I will not be returning.

Manager Jo went out of his way to help locate a replacement Bubble Mower which was broken. He picked one up from Weston and brought it to Portishead store. So grateful and he is an asset to Home Bargains. Rare to find helpful , nice assistants these days. Thank you Jo

rude sarcastic staff, the guy behind the till scanned products and chucked them down. sarcastic comments were made about challenging for ID. understandable that he was doing his job, but no need for the sarcasm or rudeness. will not be returning, and i would rather travel further to a different home bargains.

The guy behind the till was extremely passive aggressive he was told to stay on till by Another team member. The guy was not happy punch the till no Care about my products as they were being Scanned. Just chucking them down the end chucked my Receipt at me Not once did he say please or thank you always had a good positive feeling in this store will be thinking twice about returning

Shopped in here today absolutely shocked by the poor customer service when served on the till my goods was thrown down the till, there was no eye contact the boy just grunted something & with no thankyou Home bargains Portishead very poor service indeed.

Somewhere, you have to have a wonder around. Has everything you could ever want & stuff you didn't realise you did need. Lots of household items, food & animal food is a lot cheaper than supermarkets and you can always find a gift ? for someone.
