Lovely evening at the pheasant ?
Came in with our baby and doggy. The pub was busy and they still managed to get us table. Owners could not be more friendly and helpful. Nice pub food. Go and visit if you are in the area! ?

Spent a very nice night at The Pheasant. Visited while staying at a campsite near by. It was an open mike night which was very enjoyable. The atmosphere was great and staff and patrons friendly.

Stopped at the Pheasant for some refreshments after a pleasant cycle, lovely big beer garden perfect for a drink and a bite to eat on a sunny day, food was tasty and reasonably priced, the land lady is very friendly also lady behind the bar was helpful and friendly. Will return sooner than later.

After looking on the interweb for a place to eat at stumbled across The Pheasant. The pub was pretty quiet so finding a table wasn't difficult. I have to admit I just wanted somewhere to eat as my boy is incredibly fussy due to sensory needs and when we walked in the place didn't look much. But I should remind myself to never judge a book by it's cover as the food was amazing. We ordered the steak and ale pie, Hunters Chicken, pizza and a steak. Everything was cooked to perfection and we all left very happy and full. I can't recommend this quiet pub enough and if I find myself down that way again I will be revisiting.

Found this gem of a place not too far from Glastonbury while on our way back to our hotel. The staff were all lovely from the moment we stepped out foot in the door. For the first time going the options were very tempting and with the two mains for £20 offer on the day we came (Wednesday) we all shared a pizza, hunters chicken, and some newer starters of salt and pepper chicken and the (tomato) soup of the day which were all delicious. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Glastonbury or nearby.

We were on holiday for a week and found this delightful little pub. It was my mums birthday and therefore had reviewed this pub and we weren't disappointed. We went on a Wednesday and were delighted to find that they were doing 2 main meals for 20 poinds. There was 7 of us and we all had a starter and a main. I'm quite a fussy eater and I was a bit sceptical about trying the chicken wings in salt and pepper with peppers and onions but it came out piping hot and it was absolutely delicious. The steak was absolutely gorgeous and done really well. A massive well done to the chef who was cooking for everyone on just a small oven as the main oven was awaiting repair. That said, we still didn't have to wait that long for our food and it was freshly prepared and very hot and we all absolutely loved what we had. They have a wide variety of drinks available including some lovely local ales. A lovely and very friendly pub at extremely reasonable prices.

What a HIDDEN GEM!! This is a must visit if you?re in the area! Lovely family run pub, traditional pub grub. Prices are very reasonable, portion sizes are huge and the food is all scrummy!! They owners went above and beyond, we were celebrating a birthday and even bought a candle out with the pudding. We will definitely be coming back!

Had a evening meal here whilst on
a short break. We were made welcome by the land lord and lady and regular customers.I ordered the homemade steak and ale pie which was really delicious and filling, and it was a proper pie (not a bowl of meat with a crust on top).My wife had the scampi which she also said was delicious.Aenjoyablreally

Has to be the worst Sunday roast I've ever seen and didn't eat .ended up going to the chip shop afterwards.ive seen better roast dinners in the 1980's in school .if I would of sat in to see this and not had a takeaway I would of asked for my money back .how on earth you can charge £12:95 is a disgrace. Runny gravy.beef looked processed .vegetables under cooked ,2 potatoes and a stale cold Yorkshire pudding . Total waste of money .

My husband and I went to the Pheasant on Friday the 14th Feb 2025 . It was a wonderful evening from start to finish.New landlord /landlady were really friendly and welcoming. We were shown straight to our tables and given time to think about drinks and food. Menu explained to us with options and a deal for the night. Order taken and drinks delivered quickly . We had garlic mushrooms to start which were delicious and served with ciabatta bread. For the mains I had the fish and chips and my husband had rump steak and a side order of onion rings. It all came out piping hot, nicely presented and perfectly cooked . The portion sizes were generous . My husband ordered his steak medium done and it was just right. The batter on the fish and the homemade onions rings was delicious as was the tartare sauce. For pudding my husband chose the Manhattan Stack a which was recommended to him by the landlord and he loved it .I had the apple crumble which was lovely. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be going again and we highly recommend it. The pub had a lovely atmosphere and is child friendly .Music was on low so you could talk and there are a couple of sofas round the fire to relax on as well .
