We loved our meal and evening at the Burcott Inn. Delicious food and large portions. We had the added pleasure of live music in the garden. Johnny Orr offers great hospitality, we look forward to another visit.

We went in here for a pop to eat on the way back from Wookey Hole. We are so glad we did! The bar lady was the hostess with the mostess and so friendly and warm. We ordered the goats cheese baguettes with cheesy chips and onion rings. They were incredible. Proper well done home booked food. I would come back just for chips alone. Also only cost £30ish for all the food with decent portions and 2 diet Cokes. If you are in the area, pop in! You will not be disappointed! From the honeymooners xxx

Wonderful atmosphere, lovely food and a quiet place to stop over in my little van, they were very accommodating and i was able to sit quietly in the corner working on my laptop. A stop over and workstation for a delicious meal ! Great stay thank you.

Delicious homecooked food. Proper steak & ale pie. Perfect salad nicoise. The best lemon cheesecake, everything was lovely.
Nice pub garden at the back too.
Very friendly locals, it was a great place to visit on a busy Friday evening. Highly recommended

Called in on off chance for lunch. Had beef baguette which was fresh, crunchy and so tasty! Enjoyed it so much, went out of my way to return on homeward journey to have lunch. It was Sunday, so Sunday lunch was on the menu. Oh how lucky was I? I had the roast pork with all the trimmings. The pork was a succulent, tender, melt in the mouth delight! Veg was fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked, roast potatoes consisted of soft inner, crisp outer and flavoursome. The Yorkshire pudding and gravy completed the perfection! The photo does not do it justice! Excellent food, reasonable price and well worth a visit. I will be back.

Good food, very reasonably priced and good beer.

Miserable owner / landlord! Don't recommend whatsoever. Avoid!

I?ve never been unwelcome in a pub before!
The owner/manager/landlord questioned my every step and wouldn?t let me get to the bar to order a pint. He was particularly angry that I needed to use the toilet, as if that?s not normal. In the end I had to leave with no cider. The Ring O Bells and Pheasant are both lovely pubs in Wookey, but I recommend avoiding this one. My third Wookey pub has ended up being the lovely Cheddar Valley Inn in Wells instead. The man ended up asking for a fight on Facebook, but I don?t use that, so I?ve left a google review for him.

Lovely, charming village pub. Went to my Granny?s 90th do here. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and put on a delicious spread. All the food was home cooked and really good value. Will definitely be back for an evening meal.
