Been stopping over at The Crown Inn since 2020 whenever we head down to Cornwall. Always great tasting food & generous portions! Friendly staff & very dog friendly. Will be happy to return on our next trip to the South West.

We kept driving past this place and finally stopped in for a meal and a couple of drinks.
A beautiful traditional old country pub which is perfect as it is, a proper home feel, ALL of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly with delicious food! We can?t wait to go back

Staying local for our holiday in Somerset. We had been out for the day and thought we'd stay out for dinner and try The Crown and were very happy we did. Dogs were welcome which was a bonus as we have two. Service was great and the food was even better, proper pub food we loved it and our kids did too clean plates all round ? desserts were amazing also if you can manage it after the hearty mains. Overall I would highly recommend it.

Stayed over night for free in the carpark in our campervan. Electric hook up was available but not needed.
Instantly made to feel so welcome by the husband and wife landlord team .
Bar staff so helpful and friendly.
I had the stack and ale pie and my wife the gammon, pineapple and eggs. Each about £15 and worth every penny.
Food was best I've had in ages.
Went on to get heroically drunk on a great array of gins.
Amazing night and already looking for an excuse to stay over again.

We stopped on Saturday night in our camper, the carpark was plenty big enough, had an meal in the pub and the food was absolutely beautiful well cooked propper meal! Saturday night entertainment also a bonus.
