Second time visiting this local gem!! Amazing comfort food especially the Sunday roast !! Cheesecakes are out of this world ! Lovely atmosphere the staff are always so kind helpful jolly and happy nothing is too much trouble ! Really lovely place highly recommended and advisable to book ! :)

Nestled in the small village of Binegar sits the Horse & Jockey pub dating back to the 18th Century. Whether you just want to drop in for a quick drink and catch up with friends or planning to relax and enjoy a lovely meal, the welcome will always be a warm one with a very friendly atmosphere.
Our pub is dog friendly and in the winter, you can enjoy the roaring wood burning stove whilst the summer months can be enjoyed outside surrounded by fields and why not take advantage of our planned barbecue days with our new barbecue area. The bottom (Cider) bar is a truly unique experience with a mix of traditional ‘scrumpy’ type ciders and colourful characters. It’s the ideal place to get a true sense of a traditional Somerset experience.
