I was made to feel welcome as soon as I walked through the door. Every member of staff was helpful and professional. The optometrist was thorough and explained every aspect of the test. This put me at ease and made the whole experience a pleasant one. Loving my current frames, I wasn't pushed into buying new ones and was told, when my lenses are ready, they would call and simply swap them over. Would recommend Specsavers Minehead to all.

The young woman who booked me in, did the initial tests and helped me to choose my glasses was fantastic, really helpful.
The chap who did the actual eye test I found very unhelpful, like I was an inconvenience to him. Social skills were limited and at times I found him difficult to understand and uninterested.

Excellent service from Minehead. Was met by Evie on arrival who was very polite and welcoming. Had my eyes checked by Fatima who was very thorough and not rushed. Was made to feel very welcome and not rushed, lovely new shop and nice atmosphere.

After having my eye test an appointment was made for a contact lens fitting two weeks later, when arriving for that appointment was told that they hadn't got the contact lenses in stock, specsavers maybe you should check the stock has arrived before you make that call to the customer 24 hrs before to confirm their appointment. Was then informed I would have to make another appointment, as I had already been given my prescription and I knew what lens I would be fitted with , I left and ordered online. Maybe if the staff spent a little time checking they had everything in order before the appointment they wouldn't be wasting customers time .
