Well
The room above the guest was walking up and down up and down for over 2 hours when we were trying to sleep
I went down to reception to complain about it but the guy behind reception said he could not do anything about till 11 o'clock
Not good enough
I even pointed to the sign behind him saying about a good nights sleep
He shrugged his shoulders and he had to wait till the night watchman came in or something like that

We stay in these a lot, hotel ok but under staffed, parking charge extortionate, recommend you stay outside Minehead and bus in.
Rooms: Ok no problems,
Walkability: Next to carpark so access ok
Food and drinks: Next door,,, pricey but convenient

I really enjoyed my stay at the Premier Inn in Minehead. It was an impromptu one as due to unforeseen circumstances I'd needed to extend my holiday. I found all staff very efficient & friendly, but especially the restaurant staff. Restaurant Manager Philip was clearly doing a great job as his entire team, especially Georgina and her colleagues in the breakfast team but as I'd also used the restaurant the previous evening for my 2 course evening meal & drink included in the Meal Deal booking I'd made and found all food was lovely with ample choice and very nicely cooked, hats off too to Jordan, the Kitchen Manager. It had been a very busy Thursday evening and everybody in the attached bar/restaurant seemed to be enjoying their meals and were served by staff genuinely interested in helping to achieve that, so it was definitely a case of service with a smile! There was a lovely atmosphere for all guests and I felt very 'at home' there. Thank you. The room as expected from was generally v clean and tidy and the bed very comfy. I have deducted 1 star however for the room as the next day I had felt it necessary to mention to the cleaning team that although the bathroom and room in general were immaculately clean, it was let down by shower curtain marks and also staining on a couple if ceiling tiles so they may wish to passon my comments to the maintenance team. I cannot recall the room number as unforeseen medical issues following my extended holiday - not in any way connected to my accommodation prevented me leaving my review any sooner. My stay was on 12th September 2024. I only hope that if I opt to stay in another Premier Inn for my holidays this year, which I am contemplating that the staff and the overall service will be as good there as in the Minehead Premier Inn. Other than the issue with the room maintenance, as opposed to the very good overall cleanliness, it was a good experience. Keep up your great work and your outstanding warm welcome. If I were back in the area I'd still consider staying in the Minehead Premier Inn but request a different room unless the maintenance issue had been rectified of course as I think it was a room in the 200? range overlooking the car park and was otherwise a very suitable room. Please don't let a small unsatisfactory and unexpensive maintenance issue ruin the overall lovely standard decor & finish of your rooms. Many thanks for your consideration of this point & once rectified it would have been 5* reviews throughout.

Hotel itself is really nice but there are many degenerates roaming the hallways at night. Yelling and making all kinds of noise. People will stomp right above you for hours and you just have to deal with it. Clearly no noise control or courtesy here. Shame so many northerners use it.

We have used premier inn many times before. This is the first time we've used this one in Minehead, the room was the usual clean and tidy standard room.
But the breakfast was at the Brewers Faryre right next to the hotel. Oh dear.
This was by far the worst breakfast we have ever had at a premier inn. Usually it's a buffet in the hotel itself, but this one you help yourself to toast coffee etc, then the staff come over and take your order for breakfast, ticking off the items you want on a sheet. Well, when the breakfast came out I had asked for my eggs ? to be flipped over, they were flipped onto the plate but obviously not in the pan as one was still not cooked properly on the top(runny white). The mushrooms I couldn't believe they put them on a plate like they were(black and crunchy). BURNED. My wife left most of her breakfast as it wasn't to her liking.
So needless to say we won't be coming back here again.
Food and drinks: Not good.

Arrived early evening. Room allocated automatically smelt of vomit. Fortunately a members of staff was on duty and allocated us another room - unfortunately this room had a strong smell of tobacco. Spoke to the same member of staff who allocated another room which finally was acceptable. An unfortunate start to our stay at Minehead Premier Inn.

Just spent 2 nights here.
We have been stopping in Premier Inn?s for nearly 20 years now, so we can compare.
Reception staff were helpful. Car parking uneventful but could be annoying when we paid £14 for 2 nights, my assumption is they don?t own the car park or it?s to prevent non guests from parking.
The Brewers Fayre next door offers the usual menu and I?m afraid to say as a seasoned guest of Premier Inn?s, the staff are overworked and understaffed.
Our first night there, all steaks off the menu and the 3 front of house staff were struggling with the capacity.
The male manager was quite abrupt/blunt but the other staff were pleasant and friendly.
Breakfast next day and the same manager was still abrupt and stressed but keeping it going.
Do book tables when it?s busy as this pub gets used by non guests and gets fully booked or up to capacity when people walk in off the street.
Our next evening was also busy and this time the manager was stressing its ?35 minute wait for food?, it seems he was actively trying to put people off.
It took 55 minutes to get our food but we were ok with this.
Our last breakfast was not as good as the day before, big queues for the cooked food, coffee machine broke down and cereals depleted. Staff overwhelmed again.
My comments are made to make SLT of Premier Inn/Whitbred Plc to review your staffing levels!
We understand profit margins and getting more for less from your staff, however you will lose business/customers to revival hotels or Airbnb?s if the customer experience continues to decline.
You seem to work your staff very hard, we often comment on Premier Inn staff being ?Miss Rabbits?,(Pepper Pig character who works her socks off) ie working all hours, long hours and not adhering to any ?Working time directive?. Ie If you're aged 18 or over, you're entitled to: 11 hours rest between each working day.
To end my comments with a positive, we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it as a place to stop. Good location, clean facilities and mostly friendly staff.

It would have been all 5 stars because booking was easy, the receptionist helpful, the accessible room comfortable, clean and most importantly spacious - plenty of turning room for my powerchair. I was travelling alone and I dropped a star for the bedroom because the heavy door was difficult to hold open with one hand whilst I needed a hand for my wheelchair power controls (and I had my rucksack on my lap!). I dropped a star for the location as the view had nothing of interest & the parking had to be paid for. But it was a manageable wheelchair ride to the seafront & convenient for supermarkets

Great place ruined by the £7 per night extra charge for parking now if you stay at premier inn, and when the prices are already high for rooms theses days, and yes you?ll say we don?t own the car park ? but nothing is stopping you reducing it for customers
Food and drinks: Ok
