“Great little Iceland still with loads of bargains, I filled my basket before I got down the first aisle ! In the lovely high street with a car park at the rear £1.10 for 2 hours great value with so many independent shops still open ☺️”

“A huge thank you to the several staff members who helped out my 92 year old mother-in-law on Friday 1 December. Her car broke down in the Lidl car park and various staff members patiently helped her, including ringing her breakdown company and successfully arguing with them that she did not need to pay the £100 that they said it would cost her. Unfortunately she didn't see the name badges of those that helped her, but it was a stunning degree of care and customer service. Bravo indeed!”

“No longer a costcutter, now a spar. Typical village shop which stocks all the usual groceries including some local products. Sells loose milk and a good selection of cheese. Delivers locally.”

“Lovely country pub beside the river. Plenty of space for car parking, and a really beautiful large garden with lots of outside seating. Sunday roast was a hearty dish, generous meat and lots of vegetables. All washed down with local real ales! Definitely a pub to come back to!”

“My grandson managed to choke on some sausage in the cafe - no one’s fault just life. Thankfully we managed to sort him out quickly. I would like to highly commend the staff that helped us straight away. Sorry I didn’t get any names but cafe staff, first aider and everyone else that were on hand were so so good! Please can you thank them all again for me , so much appreciated!”

“Good large store just of the road around the side of the town. Fab yo sushi bar inside, and always fine some of their things in the discounted yellow sticker reduced area. Sad to see the meal deal price go up and it looks like the range has also decreased. Was excited to see you can still ge huel, but after a embarrassing incident at the till, I realised the store had put huel in the wrong place and huel is NOT I coded in the meal deal, see photo attached.”
