I recently purchased a DeLonghi coffee machine from Minehead Argos store, and unfortunately my experience has been very stressful and upsetting. From the outset the machine produced weak watery coffee with no crema and milk frother not adequately frothing. After lengthy discussions with both DeLonghi and Argos online support, I was advised to return to the store for further advice. However, when I returned to the store the staff declined to look at the photo evidence of the online conversations, and tested the coffee themselves using instant coffee! They have since told me they have tested again properly? refusing to show me how they conducted their tests. To make matters worse, I have a reference number from DeLonghi confirming the issues I experienced, yet the store staff refuse to contact them for further clarification. They are also unwilling to issue a refund or exchange, leaving me frustrated and unheard.
Overall my experience with Argos Minehead has been far from satisfactory, I would give no stars if an option.
There is no customer support or complaints that have an accessible number/email
I have also tried twitter/facebook help to no avail. It appears the staff can act with a degree of autonomy, this behaviour seems to occur without any apparent consequences, which is very concerning for customer satisfaction.

Purchased a WiFi printer but couldn't get it to work with our computer. Argos Minehead tested it, said they could link it in store so thought it was fine When we asked for a refund or somebody to come and try to install it for us they would do neither. BEWARE! open the packaging at your peril.

Argos system problems result in customer problems. If you can't provide a product don't advertise it. Mail Order a 32in Samsung TV. Argus withdraws money from my account. Then "Sorry we had a problem processing your order" refund in seven days. Not good enough. John at Minehead.

Went to return item as ordered wrong one. Managed to return but staff can be rude. Felt more like a police interaction. Not my 1st time this has happened.

The one star is for the recent delivery I had today and not the shop. Shop staff are excellent and past home deliveries. But today's delivery the driver was not very helpful and if my mencap support worker wasn't in I would be stuck, in getting the heavy box into my flat because I can't lift heavy things in by myself.

In argos the staff are friendly and helpful, ifThere is a item you want and it's not available then staff will order it for you for next day pickup.

Argos is just like an Argos you go in you by what you want you buy televisions remote controls mobiles anything electrical beds blankets pillows like in a factory shop but they are very useful just go and look and go online if you say Argos you will see what I yes it can be expensive yes it can be cheap they are helpful if something breaks down and yes you should be able to get your just go online and look read carefully

INEXPERIENCED, VERY RUDE STAFF. The worst customer service I have ever seen. Their head office apologized. If you want to purchase from Argos, better to go to Taunton, there is polite and professional staff and excellent customer service.

They are a small branch with hand gel on entry. On both sides their are computerised catalogues to order from. These are normally for next day delivery.You can pick up other items from Paypal, Ebay, etc. Staff are all friendly and like to help the best they can.
