A lovely local spot, food is great value for money but with great quality, meat and fish locally sourced and my type of portions! Pete, Sophie and the team are all lovely which is the cherry on the cake for me. Highly recommend, a home from home! Thank you guys! See you soon!????

Was lucky to get a table for three people walk in on a Saturday evening as clearly popular with the locals!
Lovely cosy pub with a kind welcome and scrumptious hearty food with beautiful presentation served.
Was one of the recommended places in Mark by air bnb host and it did not disappoint!
We had the scallops, cheesy garlic bread to start then for mains lemon sole princess, lamp chops and moussaka. (All mains were served with a good helping of wedges or scalloped potatoes~ not pictured).
We left with big smiles and full bellies!

Visited the pub for the first time this week.Loved it.Owners/staff were very friendly.Had the Greek Moussaka ,it was delicious.Dogs were welcome in the out door seating area.Looking forward to my next visit.

Took a chance based on a Google review and I'm so glad that I did! Popped in during the bank holiday with no reservation but the manageress very kindly found me a table for 1 and my glass of wine was served before I had even sat down! Lovely family pub, two courtesy checks during dinner (you're lucky to get 1 these days!) and the food was really tasty. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

A very friendly and warm welcome at this pub in the beautiful village of Mark in Somerset. Dogs are allowed in the terrace area but not in the restaurant or bar. The food was really good. Big portions and very tasty. Gastro Pub Food at its best in my experience. I would recommend a visit and grabbing food here.

Phoned late afternoon and the lovely manageress got us a table for five for Friday night, we were so pleased we did. It was all perfect from the friendly welcome and professional staff to the fantastic locally sourced food particularly the lamb shank which my husband and son in law loved. I had the home made moussaka which was authentic and absolutely delicious. Cannot recommend this place highly enough and am rather confused by some of the poor reviews. We would all love to return in the future.

Great country pub.
We called in for lunch as we were in the area.
We were greeted by a really friendly member of staff.
The pub is very clean with a traditional decor.
The most striking thing about our visit was the food. My wife and I both ordered the Steak and Ale Pie, which was simply amazing!!!!
The chef came out to ask how the food was. When I told him the pie was probably the best I?d ever had, he smirked and gave a knowing look and said ?it?s cooked with love?!
The pie lid was crisp and light. The steak was so tender with a great after taste of ale.

Have visited this place over the years. They never fail to impress; service and food; are of the highest quality. This coach house would rate high against any reputable restaurent in the area. Their CV 19 preparations are totally covid secure resulting in a proper safe dining experience.
Highly recommended.
This venue never fails to satisfy. The standard of the food staff and service must rate as the finest in Somerset.
