Dirty sticky table put in cafe chilly environment food really bad horrid ham greasy & dry horrid chips actually greasy took ages to appear the worse food we have ever had any where.

Had our Sunday Roasts here.Very busy as understandable as it is Mother's day. Service Great, & the Roasts. Plenty of outdoor space for a Sunny day. Highly recommended a visit. Just prepare time for parking, as Carpark Small .Otherwise 100%.

Just love coming to The George at Abbots Leigh. We have a walk around Abbots Pool and then come for lunch or tea and cake from The Bike Shed Cafe. There?s something for every time of the day! This time we had egg & avocado sourdough baps from the cafe, with tea and the most delicious Victoria Sponge in the sunshine in the lovely pub garden. Highly recommend

A group of us, 5 people and 5 dogs (4 Westies and a Ridgeback) rocked up on a Sunday lunch time without booking...

Stopped for Sunday lunch which was really nice, service was great and lovely garden. The Veggie roast also looked really great.
It was really useful that you could order from the main bar or cafe as done off our group didn't want a Sunday roast.

Nice quiet pub. Very friendly staff. Food was great, hot and tasty. We had a bit of a wait for the food as we didn't book, however the staff let us know beforehand. Wednesday afternoon so nice and quiet. Spend includes the drinks we had.

Horrible. Parking is nonexistent.
If you play on a Saturday get the TRAIN walk down the hill and get a bus. Get off at Tesco. It?s a 3 mile walk. From station to ground. There is a football bus But it is quicker to walk back to station.

We booked a table ,it's the first and last time going to this pub,we were sat in the bar area, it was very noisy with zero atmosphere, the staff were very young. The food was not very good and over priced. I had fish and chips, the fish was mostly batter that surrounded a off white piece of fish it wasn't very big or very nice. We ordered desserts but the staff by now had gone elsewhere, we gave up waiting and left. I wouldn't recommend this if you appreciate good food and service.

Excellent venue. We had a lovely evening meal. Sadly the toilets need some attention as was filthy and need cleaning.
