A great place to eat with a fantastic ambience, understanding and considerate staff. I have eaten there on several occasions for work and social functions. Every time I have been impressed by the quality of the food, service and value for money. Each menu item has calorific value, vegetarian and vegan details clearly displayed. Dietary sensitivities are catered for and if you sign up you are regularly invited for offers and deals to accommodate your pocket and taste. I cannot recommend the Ashton highly enough.

Great spot for a winter weekend lunch. The open fire(s) make for a really cosy atmosphere and the food was delicious! The team were very friendly & helpful. Would recommend a visit!

Wow,what a fantastic restaurant this is.Not only was the food,absolutely first class.The staff were so helpful, kind,and hard working.From the moment we arrived,there were 9 of us,we were welcomed so Warmley.Honestly this place is a jewel in a crown.Will definitely be back.

We booked as friends for lunch today at the Ashton. The weather was freezing and we were in doubt of going out to lunch because of the weather, I am glad we did! We were warmly welcomed and looked after throughout our stay. The fire was roaring and the restaurant was warm. We had stunning views from where we were comfortably sat and it was long to wait for our drinks and our food! Fantastic service, great food and some really enjoyable wine. We can?t wait to make our next visit!

A great place to go for a meal if you want to clear your own table and fetch your own cutlery after the food has been served all the while being ignored by staff. Over priced microwaved food and inadequate quantity. I will not be returning based on my experience. There are far better places in the area.

Popped in for a quick meal and had a lovely time, food looked and tasted great. Service was fantastic, I?d like to give special thanks to Dan who was extremely helpful to me and my family. Will happily come again, hopefully soon.

Came to the restaurant for me and my girlfriend?s 1 year anniversary, and the food, atmosphere, and service in particular were astonishing! We are very happy with the way our waiter, Dan, treated us, making us feel welcome and overall made our anniversary feel more special and meaningful. 10/10 experience, will definitely be back again!

Great food and great service. Shout-out to Lauren our waitress especially because we were a large group with several allergies and dietary requirements. They were very accommodating and checked everything with the chef and were able to adjust the menu items to suit our needs

Hugely recommend this place. James and all the staff there are super polite and welcoming. The food is on point and a great selection of drinks. I will now bring my family here often and especially for the roasts. They are insane. A must visit
