Food is delicious, all homemade and fresh. Staff are friendly and helpful. We sat outside as it was a lovely sunny day and the view of the river is stunning.

Bit disappointed after hearing good things about this place. Poached eggs were overcooked but I didn't get the chance to ask for more as staff didn't come over and my attempts to get their attention went unnoticed. Coffee and hot chocolate were lovely though.

An interesting place for a coffee, by the river at a wharf.
Very poor parking in the area. We used the main town car park a 10 minute walk away.

Went in for lunch with wife ordered the chicken, waffles,and honey looked delicious but unfortunately when I started to eat noticed the chicken was raw !!! Which totally put me off eating anything but decided to have a Brie and bacon panini sorry sir no Brie left !! So decided on an alternative? when approached to pay the bill the waiter had the audacity to say we don?t do it very often referring to the uncooked chicken !!! Sorry find a new chef if you can?t even cook a piece of chicken properly food poisoning is never a pleasant experience?

Had to go 4 stars because the prices were a little higher than expected. Definitely a place to visit, though! A very relaxed atmosphere with a lot of care taken to get the little details just right

Lovely staff and nice atmosphere and the coffee is very good. However. I messaged through the website to reserve a table and didn't get a response so we just had to chance it and we did find a table thankfully but it was very busy. I ordered a tea cake and was surprised to have it delivered looking more like a pancake. Assuming it had been toasted in a sandwich grill for some reason as it was totally flat and like cardboard! but no idea why you would do that! But I will visit again as the venue is lovely.

We've been here a few times and it's a popular, pleasant and nice place to visit. Whether it's just a coffee and cake visit, or a visit for a meal, it's a nice place to be.
A really good variety of food, cake and drinks with indoor and outdoor seating.
Friendly staff and quick service too.

Very long wait for 2 drinks, then bring me the wrong beer??? Wait even longer for food and quiche was burnt, salad not great either. Staff no good, hopeless and not welcoming. Don't recommend anyone to eat here and it's not worth the money.....first time I ever reported so bad....

£7.70 for a takeaway small soggy jam muffin and a 330ml can of Cawston Rhubarb Press. Disgustingly overpriced, even if I had it served at a table it would still be overpriced.
