Conveniently situated off a main roundabout, easy to find. Greggs, BK & petrol station with Co-op shop all on site. The original sized car park was busy. This older hotel is maintained to basic standard but somewhat tired in decor. Comfortable bed, a good sleep, a decent shower.

Surprisingly very good and quiet since my last trip to a Travelodge although we did have a disabled room which didn't bother us. Recommended.

It's one of the worst hotels I ever stayed in. So the toilet in the room is leaking and is out of the wall. Being on the reception reporting about this, they said there is nothing they can do. I was asking them to give me another room at which they said we are fully booked and they are " sorry about this." I was asking to move to another travelodge wich has empty rooms and again guess what ' they are all fully booked' told me guy on the reception. He didn't even try to solve this case... I have taken the initiative to call all other hotels around to find by myself which one has available room. So I founded one which has available rooms but another thing comes up. So he has to write an email to make sure that he can be able to do this and to get an answer it may take about 1h at least... so what I'm gonna say is one of the " best" hotel who "care" about their clients... So, in the end, I was offered another room at this time dirty... "Great" job, Travelodge...NOT recommend at all.

Bedroom I was staying in had sellotape on the walls. Including the bathroom dispenser didn?t have any body wash. Swapped another room only to find the beds had hair on them. Overall it?s pretty dirty. On the flip side sit does have good wifi for a cheap price.

Useful if you are using A303 on way down to South West from London and want an evening stop over, bout 2 or 3 hours once you get on M3. Room was clean and bed was comfy so we got a good night's sleep, I didn't hear a lot of road noise even with window slightly open although it is close to main roads. You need to turn into petrol station and motel is around to the right as its nit directly visible from the road so easy to fo past.

Dirtiest Travelodge we have ever stayed in. Floor not vacuumed, carpet grotty, coffee spills(?), dust and general grime everywhere. Bathroom: nothing clean, lowlights included mouldy shower curtain, hair-clogged plug hole, filthy fixtures and urine sprayed over wall between toilet and sink. Strong smell of urine coming from toilet. Bed poor. You can't lock the door either, so someone with a key could enter. We were forced to use our portable IR alarm which offered us some peace of mind here. (About a tenner from The Range, recommended.)This travelodge is right next to commercial units (Greggs and BK) both of which share the small car park. This means vehicle noise through the night with customers and then with lorry deliveries in the early hours.Pic of the tv remote is representative of the room, as I didn't see the point in an entire horror reel.Don't stay here.

Don't stay here, rooms not very clean, lots of noise at night, lot of the rooms are rented & some very shifty people hanging about. We got hardly any sleep

Friendly staff, clean and tidy inside, outside a bit overgrown and due to its location a bit noisy.

Not one of the most modern buildings, but an attempt to modernise the inside has worked reasonably well. Some mould in the shower which could easily be sorted with some bleach or such liquid. Never know why this is such a problem with their bathrooms. Near a busy roundabout so very handy for Ilminster and south coast , Lyme regis etc and only 8 miles from Taunton. Staff friendly and helpful.

It's 01:25 and so far, no sleep! Constant banging and slamming and stomping up the stairs. Has been the noisiest hotel stay I have ever experienced. Our room is located on the ground floor, opposite the housekeeping store room, and apparently now is the time to be house keeping. Slamming doors, clattering hoover poles - and honestly, the rooms aren't even that clean! Hair in the bath plugs, mould around the bath seals and pink fat, kettles clogged inside and outside with limescale and coffee stains. We are supposed to be here for 2 nights, but we will be checking out a day early tomorrow. I will not be returning or recommending this hotel to anyone.Avoid like the plague!!

Been to this travelodge a couple of times. It's handy for visiting family in Dorset, rooms are clean and comfortable. Could do with updating at some point
