Amazing shop and staff.

Nina - has worked tirelessly to keep the Post Office and especially the shop stocked and open for the residents of Horton throughout the pandemic. In my opinion very village should have the the benefit of a "Nina" and her shop on their doorstep. The amount of work she has done has been recognised by the Parish Council in a number of ways, now including a "Blue Plaque " as a permanent recognition of her efforts.

The rudest lady I have ever met, served me.She says they where shut, at 4.15 (they close at 5.30) before going on a rant about how she would have to stop what she was doing to post my parcel. She then proceeded to lie and tell me they don't post to America (they do) , before attempting to overcharge me quite considerably for the parcel.I post stuff nearly everyday so was fully aware the price she told me was not the correct one, but it's very concerning she would try.She then refuse to even send it that day, saying that because I had annoyed her she would send it "whenever she wanted", so godknows when my parcel will arrive. She also had a massive go at the gentleman waiting after me for having a pre-paid parcel, saying that this doesn't earn her any money and she would refuse to do it if he ever came in again.Generally a horribly experience, never met anyone so rude in my entire life. I think her name was Nina.P.s. the shop itself is lovely, as are the workers I have met. It's just the post office I am talking about.

Friendly and helpful post office and shop. Great selection of cards, simple food supplies and some lovely local produce. Just had a refurb which has modernised it well.
