Very good. Well set up for wheelchair access. The disabled parking bays are sensibly located and ramps and access to the cafe and the disabled loo all work well. Coffee good too!

I have recently organised my dad 80th birthday party and felt compelled to say what an excellent event it was. The organisation by Monks Yard, particularly Gina, was incredible. Everything we asked for was delivered above expectations, and the cake, wow. Catering for nut free, gluten free and veggies was not a problem and even asks on the day were delivered. Thank you for making such an important day one to be remembered.

We had a beautiful lunch here today, en route to Bristol airport. We all enjoyed our choices and would whole heartedly recommend this spot! Everything was delicious and all home made. The staff were just lovely too.

Absolutely amazing - We had our wedding at this venue yesterday and it was so lovely. The food was top tier and we are so happy with how the entire day turned out. The entire staff were so precise and delicate, we are truly blessed to have had our wedding here. If anyone is thinking about booking an event here I would definitely give the venue a call or pop down when it's open to have a look around. Very affordable and we will be visiting Monks Yard often to enjoy all that the venue/cafe has to offer! A big thank you to the whole team??

Here right now, welcomed straight away. Serving staff efficient and friendly. Nachos seemed home made and were great. Lots of outside space with sunshades. Toilets clean.

Very busy cafe along the main trunk road to Devon/Dorset. Medium size carpark, fairly easy to find. Large restaurant that's always busy serving tasty fresh food. Well recommended. We sat outside because it was lovely and sunny. Inside was very busy to get there early to make sure you get a table.

Nice location with outside seating. Staff very friendly & helpful. Great tea & cake. A couple of Gluten Free cake options and GF bread available, pity their chips aren't. Worth visiting the shops on site too and take in the amazing tree on the front lawn.

Very warm welcome from the two ladies behind the counter. Had the best bacon butty I?ve ever had. Proper bread, loads of properly cooked bacon and brown sauce. My friend had a danish pastry which she loved, but she was very jealous of my butty. Plenty of tea delivered to the table. Reasonable price. Very satisfied. Thank you all.

They had just closed when we arrived, but they welcomed us in, and we had fantastic tea and cake at a reasonable price. Fantastic friendly staff, so we'll be back soon. What a difference from the café across the road!
