I stayed one night .. Staff were helpful GREAT location. Room was really lovely. Self service hot drinks in room . Super view of Glastonbury main street . Really loved staying here. Restaurant garden has super mural. Great family atmosphere in restaurant /bar. I was there in a Sundaybto Monday..busy and friendly. Recommend.

The location is perfect for exploring quaint Glastonbury streets, the shops & cafes & the Tor.

The mash potato was smash - (powdered potato with water), the pie was dry with a small amount of gravy..not enough to moisten the dryness of the pie that tasted microwaved. It was like eating paper. Next time I will only stop for a drink as the food is not worth the charge. Shame since this pub used to be heaving and served delicious food until it was taken over.

The only problem we had and others staying here was unfortunately the quality of the toilet paper they supplied, it was terrible and we all believed it was a matter that the pub to think about upgrading in the rooms and in the pub.

One of the worst meals we have ever had! If I could give it zero I would! The jacket potato was a soggy microwaved pathetic excuse for a jacket with "bbq chicken" on top which consisted of about 90% spring onion. My toasted bbq chicken baguette was both burnt black withother parts still cold at the same time which is a skill in itself! The chicken was the driest freezer chicken I've ever had. The kids meals, chicken chips and peas, were cheap rubbish from the freezer, the chips were cold and stale. It came with desserts as part of the meal when I went up to ask for the desserts I was told the kitchen was shut and I'd have to wait for it to open back up again before I could ask for them.
Avoid this place at all costs. The WORST pub food I've ever experienced.

Grab a couple of beers and chili & cheese nuggets. It was a quick stop but expected more from the food.

Been trying to speak to a human at this establishment for 3 weeks .Absolutely no customer service - if someone answers they transfer me straight to an answer machine

We both had the burgers and paid the extra £1 to upgrade our drink to a cider and a beer ,the beer garden was very nice and it had plenty of dog bowls ? for our dog to have a drink ,so 2 burgers with chips and 2 pints came to around £20 it was very much like a wetherspoons feel.
Burgers were good and tasty .
Parking: There is a paid car park opposite the pub .

After being turned away by several restaurants that evening, as they stated, they were "booked" we found this place which warmly greeted us to dine with them. I thoroughly enjoyed the Cheesy Bacon burger. Best burger I'd had all five weeks on holiday in England. Great bear garden and mixed drinks abound. Would absolutely eat here again!

Stayed at The Market House to visit Glastonbury. The owner was very welcoming. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable.
