Stayed here previously a few times, so aware of quirky nature of this incredible historic building. Wasn’t prepared for how rundown it has become. It was prepaid and planned for my birthday. A lovely place to stop for a pint - this pub had such a feeling of history in every corner, it felt like being in another century. Service was prompt and friendly and I enjoyed a nice cider. Would visit again when I'm next in town.

The place looks amazing from the outside. Front bar captures the character of this historic building and the items displayed in the courtyard are really interesting to read.
