So glad we popped in here! Food was lovely and so are the staff. The Cajun noodle are amazing and don't forget the tumeric latte!

We arrived at about two so were not sure if we could get eats. We did and the Somerset Smokie was brilliant ,other half's Omelette was great she said and the fillings were different which was good, something different. Lovely staff and great kitchen staff too. Altogether a great experience. The music leaves a bit to be desired but nowhere is perfect!

Didn't eat so can't comment on food. Service and drinks were good. Toilet was not. Didn't look like the underside of the seat had been cleaned for a while.

Absolutely appalling service- disgrace to lovely Glastonbury.
2 weeks ago whilst visiting Glastonbury we decided to stop for a waffle and cappuccino and decided to sit outside as we had our dog and it was a sunny day .
I went inside and ordered- perfectly fine, pleasant waitress.
After about 10 minutes our drinks came out, no waffles, after nearly another 10 minutes I went inside to see how long they?d be, the waitress said a couple of minutes, they?re on the way.
After at least 10 more minutes and our drinks almost finished I went back in and the same waitress said, were busy, turned her back and walked away! Then, the man with long hair and super bad attitude, said ?it?s the way it is, we?re busy ?- actually there were very few people inside and they all drinking/eating.
I explained that we would have liked our drink and waffle together and we had almost finished our drinks - he said aggressively- had we any drink left? If so he?d replace them, if not, ?too bad,? we should have brought them back in to be replaced
I took what little was left and it was ?replaced? - actually it was not a cappuccino it was a coffee combination literally dumped in cup, spilt all over everywhere.
After several more minutes a kitchen staff lad, brought out the waffles saying sorry for delay (by now 30+minutes) I dropped the first lot and had to do more
I may be wrong but- I think the waffles might have come out of a packet and not even made- they were too uniformed in shape and tasted like a supermarket sugar type ones.
What a dreadful place with dreadful owner/manager and the rudest young female waitress

Unsure as to how an arrogant, passive aggressive man is able to run such a gorgeous looking cafe. Had an awful experience here as it appears many others have. On a long road trip we decided to stop for a couple hours in Glastonbury and decided to have lunch at the lazy gecko. We ordered two paninis and half an hour later became concerned about the wait as our parking was close to running out so politely asked how long it would be until it was ready. The man with long hair and a hat (presumably the manager) overheard us talking to the waiter and shouted that it was busy and this is just how it goes and we could leave if we wanted to. We were taken aback by his confrontational approach and said we were happy to wait a little longer for our food but would just like a rough estimate of the time needed. He said we had one minute to decide whether we wanted to cancel and then walked to the front of the shop, switched the open sign to closed and informed his staff they were closing as he could not be bothered anymore. I am appalled that somebody in a customer facing role can be so aggressive and have such an abhorrent attitude. We were very disappointed as this appeared to be a beautiful laid back looking cafe but it is in fact the opposite. This man appears to have no time for anybody visiting Glastonbury.

Got charged $22 notes for 2 bacon sarnies and two latte's works out 8 quid for a bacon sarnie, mad when a full breakfast is 11 quid. Shame because really nice place, good service and decor but we ain't tourists and we won't be coming back, it's called a rip off Gecko.

Guy in a hat with long hair was aggressive straight off the bat, when asked if we could sit in the back garden he replied with what back garden? no you?ve been informed wrong the garden hasn?t been open for ages. Ok just asking a question my guy, why the anger? Told to sit out the front of the cafe and order would be taken from there. First and only people in the cafe and it took about 15 minutes to come take the order, wasn?t annoyed by that as we weren?t in a rush but with the aggressive attitude it didn?t help the experience. I felt quite intimidated whenever I was asked a question about the order from the manner in which he was speaking. Food was fine, coffee was good. Wont be returning and will be warning anyone else who will listen to not visit too. Very unimpressed with the service, not a smile cracked the entire time we?re in there. Never write reviews but I was taken aback by how aggressive the service was
